"Juan did a great job meeting my drywall needs. I had a ceiling leak in a rental unit I own. After I did the mold remediation, Juan replaced the affected drywall and texture-matched to the surrounding ceiling perfectly."

"Israel was extremely professional, communicated well and the job he did was top-notch. He repaired a poorly done ceiling drywall that was initially damaged due to water leaks. He completed the job in 2 days as he promised and his rates were very reasonable. I would highly recommend him for all drywall needs."

"I went with this company to do a Drywall installation and painting on my Tuff shed. I could not be more delighted working with this company and their employees. Polite, hard-working, prompt, efficient and professional-- just a pleasure to work with a top-rate company after having so many poor experiences with other groups. Cannot recommend them highly enough."

"Needed popcorn ceiling removed from bedrooms. The company was quick & efficient in responding to my initial inquiry on Angi. We were able to get a date scheduled quickly for the work to be done. The process was thoroughly explained and the work was done as described. Very pleased with the outcome and would hire again for other projects."

"Roberto did the drywall and he did a great job. He arrived on time and set up with plastic sheets all over. I wondered why so much, but he did a splatter system and it proved very good. He was kind and considerate besides doing a wonderful job. I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Whether you apply the drywall mesh before or after drywall mud depends on the type of patch it is. For self-adhesive patches, you’ll put the patch down first and then coat it with mud. Mesh patches that are not self-adhesive will require you to put mud down first and then press the mesh into it, followed by additional coats of mud.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.

You should not leave drywall outside, especially overnight or in a wet, humid climate. Exposure to rain and humidity can damage the drywall, weakening its structural integrity and making it susceptible to mold growth. If you must leave drywall outside during a project, be sure to cover it with a tarp or keep it inside a storage shed to protect it. Even drywall intended for exterior projects requires a protective moisture barrier. For best results, store any extra drywall in a dry area away from the elements.

You should always hang drywall from the top down. Starting at the top makes it easier to create a straight, tight line between the ceiling and the wall. Any gaps that occur will be at the bottom, where they are easier to manage. You can either cut the bottom piece of drywall to fit the remaining space or cover the gap with baseboard trim. Additionally, starting at the top is physically easier, as you won't have to fit the top sheet into a tight space between the lower sheet and the ceiling, or try to balance the upper sheets on the lower ones while securing them.

You can put drywall mud over paint to even out the surface or entirely resurface it. Sand the surface with 280-grit sandpaper, vacuum the debris and dust with a shop vac, and clean it with a slightly damp cloth. Allow the surface to dry. Apply drywall primer, especially if you’re skim-coating an entire wall. Apply the right type of drywall mud over the surface and smooth it with a trowel. Allow the layer to cure fully, then sand it before applying another layer or painting it.
