"Had Brian from Lucky Sully inspect, clean, and repair chimney today. Cannot say enough GOOD things about their service. Had separation cracks in the stucco between the chimney and the house after the La Habra earthquake. Was concerned that the chimney was damaged and unsound. Had Boston Brick & Stone out. They did an "inspection" and told us we needed a new chimney to the tune of $20,000! Paid $225 for that inspection. Had Lucky Sully give us a second opinion/inspection. Brian told us that the chimney needed to be cleaned before he could thoroughly inspect it for internal cracks. He cleaned our chimney, did a camera internal inspection from the top and bottom, checked the joists and strapping in the attic, checked the chimney for movement and solidity, etc. Boston Brick's inspection was nowhere near as thorough and they obviously did not clean it. Bottom line, we had a few minor cracks which Brian sealed with high-temp sealer. All is solid and total for all was $208. Use these guys!"
