"I've used Coit and Stanley Steamer but Advanced Carpet got my carpet the cleanest I've ever seen it! Abelino arrived on time, did a wonderful job and I can't compliment him enough. Next year, I'll be calling again. If you need your carpets cleaned, this is the company!"

"I recently had Dani clean my carpet, and I couldn't be happier with the results! He did an amazing job, bringing my carpets back to life and removing stains I thought would never come out. Plus, the price was very reasonable for the quality of work he provided. Highly recommend Dani for anyone looking for a reliable and skilled carpet cleaner!"

"I'm selling my house and hired David to clean the carpet. David did an amazing job! He got all the trouble spots out that I was worried about. This is not a very high-quality rug since I bought the house remodeled and they put the rug in. Also it's about eight or nine years old. But David made it look brand new! I didn't have to replace the carpet. He saved me tons of money. And reasonably priced."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

Installation typically takes 1-2 days, depending on the area size and preparation needed.

Smaller carpet installations may take less than a day, while full-home installations can take several days. However, your carpet installation timeline will ultimately depend on a few factors, including the number of rooms you’re renovating, the project’s total square footage, and the carpet type. Installation will take longer if your carpet company needs to repair your subfloor or remove old tile flooring.

Yes, carpeted stairs are generally considered safer than stairs with hard surfaces like wood, vinyl, or tile. Carpet provides more traction, which helps reduce the chances of slips and falls, and its cushioning can lessen the severity of an injury if a fall does occur. Hard surfaces often lack the friction needed for a secure tread and can be quite slippery.

However, it's worth noting that some carpets can also be slick, particularly if they are brand new, dirty, or made from certain materials. If any stair surface feels too slippery, traction treads can be added to most materials to increase grip and improve safety.

Yes, you can technically make a crawl space liveable, but the only way to do so is by converting it into a basement. While some crawl spaces are big enough to walk through and store large items, they lack appropriate insulation and space to be liveable.

While not always required, experts recommend removing baseboards before removing old carpet and installing a new one. This practice leads to a smoother process and a cleaner, more professional-looking finish. Removing the baseboards allows for a seamless carpet installation without the risk of damaging either the carpet or the trim. It also provides a good opportunity to repaint or stain the baseboards and inspect the underlying wall for any issues. If you prefer a quicker option, you can carefully cut the old carpet along the edge of the baseboards, but this may result in a less polished installation for the new carpet.
