I would not trust them to come into my house and do anything for me Tried communicating with them and they told me that they won't do anything. They said that they would get me a bill of sale after a while of bothering them to help and it has been months and the guy decided to leave the country and won't even respond to any of my messages extremely unprofessional and a pain to deal with dishonest and liars."

It typically takes one to three days to install kitchen countertops. A few factors like size and material impact the time it takes to install a countertop. For example, if you have two slabs of countertop material, it won’t take as long to install as placing several custom pieces of countertop.

This timelines allows for removing existing countertops and any plumbing disconnect and reconnect that needs to happen. Plan on the higher end of the time frame if you've chosen custom countertops versus large slabs.

The least expensive way to build a kitchen countertop is to choose an affordable material. For example, laminate countertops cost about $1,250, while Corian® countertops cost $4,000 on average. Common wood and laminate tend to be the most affordable and DIY-friendly, which will save you the cost of labor. Otherwise, look for lower-end solid surface countertops or ceramic and stone tile. These cost less than natural stone slabs.

Several countertop materials are designed to require as little maintenance as possible. The most popular options for ease of use include laminate, stainless steel, and quartz. These options are nonporous, so they’re unlikely to stain or be affected by mold and bacteria. They’re also easy to wipe down and safe to use with various cleaning products.

Undermount sinks have clips that attach to the countertop, but they have pros and cons. They are heavier than drop-in sinks, so they only work with sturdy countertops like natural stone and are a more expensive option. You might need someone to help you install the sink, depending on its weight.

If you are building a laminate countertop from scratch, instead of buying premade laminate countertops, you can use particle board underneath the laminate. You will need to use a sheet of particle board for the substrate, along with four-inch strips underneath the edges. For proper installation, make sure that any seams are level and use a sander as necessary before installing the laminate.
