"I've been using Carpet Police for years and I am always glad when I call them! When schedule the appointment, I talk to a friendly person who gives me options of days and times that are convenient for me. When the day arrives to clean, the guys call to confirm what time they are coming. They are happy to move furniture I need help with and they move it all back using styrofoam blocks so my floors look great and my house doesn't have furniture scattered everywhere. We have a dog and we doggy-sit frequently (= occasional potty accidents) and thanks to these guys I still happily sit on the carpet. My kitchen grout changed for the better after you guys were done last time. I'm pretty sure it was 2 shades lighter. I'll keep on calling you!"

Joan received her window covering experience as a young girl working for her dad who owned Safford Furnishings. Her mother, Merle Richards sewed draperies in the store for clients who bought furniture from them. Joan and her sisters would help their mother, Merle sew fabrics together into draperies. Joan's Draperies began in 1958 with Joan sewing draperies for her new home. As friends and neighbors saw her finished work, they asked if she would sew draperies for their homes. Joan continued to work and sew draperies in her home until 1975 when she partnered with her son, Craig and the business was moved to 618 W. Main Street where we are located today.

Small jobs welcome

When life gets difficult, the last thing you should have to worry about is finding someone you can trust to take care of the work that needs to be done. \n\nMy business is built on three simple promises: quality workmanship, competitive pricing, and genuine care for my customers. I take pride in every job, whether it’s a small repair, a home improvement project, or the kind of unexpected problem that comes at the worst possible time. I believe everyone deserves dependable, honest service—especially during hard times.\n\nAt the end of the day, my only goal is simple: to see my customers happy, satisfied, and confident that they chose the right person for the job.

Whether window film is better depends on individual preferences and specific needs. In some instances, window film can be much less costly to install. Aesthetics is also a deciding factor. Window film may have a more significant appeal for design minimalists looking for a clean and streamlined look without the heaviness that comes with curtains. On the flip side, they can also appeal to design maximalists looking for creative expression in the form of color, patterns, and texture. Choosing between window film and traditional window coverings depends on factors like desired functionality, aesthetics, and personal preferences.
