"I originally hired Carpet Police to clean the carpets in my house. They were the first to respond when I got on Angie's List. Somehow, Carpet Police got usurped by another company called Arizona Island. Arizona Island did a terrible job and I called Carpet Police, again, to please come and repair the bad carpet cleaning that was done. Carpet Police did as good a job as I could possible expect to fix what went wrong. Alfonso was efficient, friendly, wore his mask when he was inside and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."
"Due to an unfortunate back condition, I have not been able to give my home a good cleaning in almost 2 years. After finding Pristine House Cleaning on Angie's List and reading their reviews, I decided to give them a try. To my astonishment, they deep cleaned my home as well as I use to. They scrubbed floors, cleaned the baseboards, blinds, and behind the toilets. All I could say is AMAZING! I am hoping to have Marcella and her partner will be returning monthly for regular visits. "
"I want to say thank you to Charles and his crew for doing a outstanding job on the moving. Charles asked me if I had my windows cleaned in the new house and I said no and he said that we could clean the windows if I wanted them done. So I had c2 windows cleaning do the windows as well. The windows looked great. Thank you c2 and Charles"
"Called up Frontpoint a few months before my ADT contract expired, to get more info about the company. I worked with Starski, and told him that I'd be in touch closer to the end of the year to work out any actual details, and he was nice enough not to call me back (I appreciate a non-pushy sales person). It happened that Angie's List had a great coupon available, so I signed up in December, and Starski was able to delay my start date in order to get me a free month of service and move my activation to January when I actually wanted it to be. I should also mention that Starski was able to swap out a few components from the Angie's List coupon deal for others that I needed more (dollar-for-dollar value exchange, with me paying the difference when I needed a few extras). The system arrived on time, and the worst trouble I had with installation was getting all of my old ADT equipment un-stuck from my doors/windows (and cleaning off all of the glue). So far, I love what I see. The system is easy to use, and as a bit of a home automation enthusiast, I am looking forward to hooking up some z-wave modules to control some lights and other appliances from my phone. "
"technician repaired problem and now there is no problem with the garbage disposal airvent. The technician was prompt, polite, cleaned area of work after his work and I very much appreciated his work."

"He arrived on time and went right to work. Cleaned interior surfaces and leather seats. He then washed and clayey my car which is a lot of work. He cleaned and vacuumed the trunk and battery compartment. This is a white BMW Z4 that I bought 5 weeks ago and he made it look like new! He finished in about 2.5 hours and put away our hose and his supplies when he finished. Very clean and organized. "
Professionals use HEPA vacuums, industrial-strength cleaners, and microfiber cloths for effective cleaning without damaging surfaces.
A small amount of diluted bleach is okay to pour down a garbage disposal. As part of your weekly garbage disposal maintenance, use 1 teaspoon of bleach with your concoction of ice cubes and lemon peels. Turn on the disposal and run the water until the blades chop up the ice cubes.
Any more bleach in your disposal can harden oils and greases in your drain, which can cause problems. Always wear gloves when working with bleach, and know that you really don’t need bleach at all—vinegar, baking soda, salt, and ice should do the trick.
Whether or not a cleaner brings supplies also depends on their preference. Some cleaning services require the homeowner to supply cleaning products and a few basic materials (sponges, paper towels, rags, a mop, and vacuum, for example), but others bring everything they need to get in, clean, and get out.
You can always ask whether or not they bring their cleaning supplies, and if so, make sure you’re comfortable with what they use. If you prefer organic or natural products, for example, you may need to supply them or pay a premium.
Cleaning your trash cans lightly once per week and then disinfecting and doing a deep clean at least once per month is the best way to prevent trash can odors. You can also invest in some garbage can deodorizers to combat odors or lay down a dryer sheet or a thin layer of baking soda in the bottom of the can under the bag. Replace the deodorizer once every month or every other month, depending on how well it works over time.
To neutralize mildew smell, you can use natural deodorizers like baking soda or activated charcoal. Baking soda absorbs odors; sprinkle it liberally on the affected area, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum it up. Activated charcoal, available in pouches, works similarly. Vinegar, with its natural acidic properties, can also neutralize odors. Mix equal parts water and vinegar, spray the affected area lightly, then blot it with a dry cloth. Enzymatic cleaners are effective too, breaking down odor-causing compounds.
