"$28 for the 2nd level cleaning (not even the high end) ... One guy was doing vacuuming for all cars coming in. The process was really slow. They called me out to my vehicle (like it was done) well before it was completed. Then when the man that was cleaning told me it was done, there were bugs still all over the windshield and front of the vehicle, spots on the mirrors and windows. Seats weren't cleaned and so much more. They don't care about cleaning your vehicle, only about charging exorbitant prices for terrible work. The guy with the truck before me, also had to make the cleaning guy redo multiple things on his truck that was missed. This car wash is a RIPOFF."

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

Yes, most professional-grade window films include warranties covering fading, peeling, and bubbling.

Window security film has a few key benefits that make it an enticing home improvement:

  • It’s much more affordable than shatterproof windows or hurricane windows.

  • It improves your home’s energy efficiency and can save money on heating and cooling bills.

  • It makes it harder to break into your home.

  • It helps prevent dangerous shattered glass after an impact.

  • You can tint it to provide additional protection from the sunlight.

Installing tinting on your own home windows is possible, but not recommended. It’s very easy to make mistakes that leave visible bubbles or imperfections in the protective coating. Not only does this look unprofessional and detract from your home’s curb appeal, but it also limits the usefulness of the tint and may still let sunlight and solar heat through your windows. If you attempt the application yourself and mess up, you’ll pay more for the wasted material and the labor to hire a tinting professional to fix the issues.

While you need heat to peel back window film, the tint will often leave behind adhesive residue. You can use chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol or acetone to remove the residue, though hardware stores sell specialized solutions for this purpose as well. You can also use soapy water in a pinch!

Often, window film won’t stick if the glass is too dirty; dust and debris can prevent the adhesive from working. Make sure to clean the glass thoroughly before installing the window film. Low-quality film, which may have a weaker adhesive, might also be the cause of your window film’s inability to stick.
