Hello I'm Scott, the owner of ascend pro construction llc. I have been doing handyman/ light remodeling work for about 5 years now and have decided to take this a step further and pursue it more. I can do interior work and exterior. Interior could be anything from doing drywall repairs, cabinet installment, baseboard, and door replacement. Exterior work I do is usually build small sheds and concrete work, landscaping also. I am based in Phoenix but can travel to surrounding cities. I will always try to do the best work possible and keep a clean workspace as if it was my own. I hope I hear from you for any type of work needed and can complete it with 100% satisfaction.

"Oscar and Daniel arrived early and ready to work. They were polite and courteous to my moving needs. I had very fragile items and they listened and treated my items with care. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Seriously, hands down the best moving company I have ever had. I will be referring my friends and family!"

"These guys are awesome! Our realtor suggested staging the house so people could get a vision of what things would look like when furniture was in the home. To be honest, my wife and I did not want to spend extra money staging. But we followed the advice of our realtor and things worked out to help us be able to sell the home. They came in with the perfect touch we needed to stage our home. They did everything they told us they would do and did it at a fair price. The house looked great and it sold within a month. I would recommend these guys to anyone.Trying to sell a home and needing help with staging."

Home Staging FAQs, answered by experts

The main difference between a home stager and an interior designer is that the former creates temporary, generally appealing spaces, while the latter creates personalized design choices for your permanent home. A home stager seeks to depersonalize your home while also showing off the best features of the home to potential buyers. An interior designer works with you to infuse your personal style into the decor in your home. You’ll typically only hire a local home stager when selling your home.

Choosing a high-quality home stager can mean the difference between your home flying off the shelves or sitting on the market for weeks or months, and it all starts with verifying the stager’s experience. You can start by asking how long the professional has been in the business, and you should also ask for references and examples of past work in your particular area. Ask the stager about your options, including virtual staging, furniture rental, and other preparation services.

The average cost to stage a home is around $1,800, with most sellers paying between $800 and $2,800 for professional services. However, the total cost can vary significantly, ranging from $500-$600 for an initial consultation to $5,000 or more for comprehensive, full-home staging.

The final price depends on several factors, including the home's size, location, and condition, as well as the number of rooms being staged. Other key cost drivers include whether you need to rent furniture, the quality of the decor, the stager's experience, and the duration of the staging services. The scope of the project also plays a role, from virtual staging and simple decluttering to full-service design, which may involve repairs and maintenance.

Staging helps homes sell faster and often at higher prices by creating an inviting, well-designed space.

Yes, removing a fireplace can decrease your home's value, as it is a sought-after feature for many buyers. The potential loss in value is estimated to be between $1,000 and $5,000. The impact can vary by market and climate; for example, a fireplace is more valued in colder regions like Minnesota than in warmer areas like Florida.

However, if a fireplace is in poor condition and needs extensive repairs, removing it might be a reasonable option. When deciding, weigh the benefits of removal (more floor space, less maintenance, reduced energy loss) against the potential decrease in home value. If you plan to sell soon, it is generally advised not to remove it.
