"We were in the process of building several new office buildings. We wanted some concrete staining done and arranged this service with Manjarrez Concrete. They presented stain color options and we made a choice. They did the work, but we did not like the color. They re-did the staining in a different color (again, chosen by us) and it turned out beautiful. We have since used their services at the other commercial sites. So overall, we were very impressed with their "over the top" customer service. Everything exceeded our expectations and they will be our first call for our next concrete staining project!"

Concrete resurfacing is the process of applying a new, thin layer of concrete over an existing concrete slab to enhance its appearance and durability. The terms 'concrete resurfacing' and 'concrete overlay' are often used interchangeably, though the exact meaning can vary between contractors. Generally, both refer to applying a layer of pre-blended concrete, typically between 1/4-inch and 1-inch thick. Some contractors may use 'overlay' to describe a thicker application that adds structural integrity, while 'resurfacing' might refer to a thinner, more cosmetic layer. This process is a cost-effective alternative to completely replacing the concrete, as it uses significantly less material than pouring a new 4-inch slab. Resurfacing also provides an opportunity to add new colors or stamped textures. Other names for this process include concrete restoration, concrete refinishing, and concrete rejuvenation.

Polishing a concrete floor isn’t as expensive as it sounds—it’s actually one of the more budget-friendly upscale flooring options out there. On average, it costs $4,500, with most projects falling between $1,000 and $8,000 . When you’re working with an existing slab of concrete, you skip material costs entirely, so it’s even more affordable. If you want a glossy, durable floor without paying hardwood or tile prices, polished concrete delivers serious shine without the sticker shock.

Yes, professionals can customize concrete surfaces with a variety of decorative options. Common choices include stamping, staining, polished concrete, and exposed aggregate to enhance the aesthetic appeal.
