I open this business in January of this year but been doing Handyman work for as long as I can remember. I'm a family man, I have 3 boys and 5 girls. Die hard Razorback fan and a Cowboys fan since 1983. I love the A State and love being a blessing to all my people in this beautiful state we call Arkansas. If you decide to paint over wallpaper, it’s important to prep the surface with an oil- or shellac-based primer. This helps prevent moisture from creating bubbles loosening the adhesive. Plus, a primer helps paint attach to the wall smoothly and securely. Use quality oil-based or latex paint to cover the wallpaper. Be prepared to cover the wallpaper with two coats for maximum coverage.

If you ever have a moisture or water issue after painting over wallpaper, the paper will bubble and damage your wall.
