"Came on Sunday afternoon to meet and look over the job and give a quote. Arrived Monday to mow with equipment. Good job of mowing, weed eating, edging. Also straightened out ruts a previous job left behind. Assessed other landscaping needs. Professional manner and respectful conversation. Knows his business."

"We had a very overgrown yard at our house in Bella Vista that needed to be cleared. This wasn't an easy job as it's on a steep incline with a rock yard instead of grass. They gave us a very fair price, called when they said they would, showed up when they said they would, and were very efficient at getting it done the way we needed. Definitely recommend!"

"Shaun is flexible and only a text away. We have a schedule that works for our budget. He does a phenomenal job for the price. He mows, weed eats, and blows off the driveway when heâ s done!"

"Fenced in rock back yard covered with some leaves and pine needles. One section had a thicker layer, almost mat, of older pine needles. He was able to remove the vast majority of it. I had rocks in my back yard again! He used a canvas covered suction to remove it and it worked well. He cleaned up and halled away after he was done. Hard worker and on time. Very nice Would hire his services again."

"Had some trees that were past needing some love. Team came out and shaped up trees and cleared up the dead limbs. All debris was removed. And they even shaped up my hedges next to the trees at no extra cost and a pleasant surprise. Love the work that was done."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Some of the particular herbicides that work best to get rid of nut grass without killing the grass include Halosulfuron-methyl, mesotrione, sulfentrazone, and metsulfuron. A herbicide like glyphosate would kill nutgrass, but it will kill nearby plants, too.

Crabgrass is very resilient, and homemade solutions like vinegar may not be strong enough. Typically, hand-weeding is the most effective option that doesn’t involve harmful chemicals. You can use corn-meal gluten as a natural pre-emergent herbicide, but it’s not as effective as chemical weed killers.

Sealing pavers helps cut down on weed growth, but it won’t wipe it out entirely. What it does really well is harden the joint sand—especially if you’re using a sealant with polymer additives—so weeds have a much harder time breaking through. It also blocks airborne seeds from settling in the cracks and keeps debris from building up. This results in fewer weeds, easier maintenance, and a cleaner-looking surface. Just remember, sealing is a strong defense—not a one-and-done solution. Stay on top of sweeping, spot-treating, and resealing every few years to keep your weeds in check.

The best time to hire a weed service company is in the early spring. This allows them to apply a pre-emergent weed killer that stops weeds from taking root, making maintenance for the rest of the season much easier. Following the initial spring application, a monthly service through the summer and early fall is a good idea for ongoing weed control. These regular treatments, combined with manual removal or spot treatment, should be sufficient to maintain a weed-free yard. Alternatively, you can hire a professional in the fall for the following year, as some companies may offer better rates on contracts signed before the busy spring season.

Yellow leaves and stems on your sprouts indicate they’re not getting enough light. Keep them near the appropriate light source and give them as much as they need (they require longer exposure to fluorescence than they do to natural light sources).
