I called in a warranty claim for a toilet that would not stop draining, and they assigned Springdale Plumbing. The plumber, Jim, had a bad attitude and complained about the warranty company making him do a diagnostic on the toilet he was replacing. Although the toilet replacement was covered, the flange was not. Mike, the office manager, double-billed me a for a detach/reset of my toilet (the warranty covered a detach/reset as part of the covered toilet replacement, but the amount they billed for the flange work also included an amount to detach/reset). The plumber made a huge mess in the bathroom, and ruined one of our towels cleaning up. This all happened right before Thanksgiving. Mike guessed (correctly) that I could not get another plumber out before the holiday, so I was forced to pony up to their inflated price. When I attempted to convey my frustrations to Mike and get him to finish the clean-up, he blocked me.

"Mr [Member Name Removed], I regret your flange replacement was not covered under your home warranty. It was certainly broken, as you saw yourself. Springdale Plumbing recommended replacement, as it was broken in half. You asked the plumber (who is a very kind man, and always has a good attitude) if he could simply repair the broken flange. The plumber told you he does not try to patch them, because that requires shoddy workmanship. Your insurance company told you to hire whoever you want. They were not paying. The plumber told you, that you were welcome to have someone else do the work, and you were not obligated to hire Springdale Plumbing and that you could hire whom ever you choose. The plumber worked late in order to get your job done for you. You were charged $650.00 for a high quality flange replacement, that will last 50 years, unlike the poorly installed flange that was broken already, in your relatively new home. That was the price you were quoted and it did not include any double billing. You were given priority treatment, because of the warranty you hold. When you start breaking concrete indoors, it’s going to make a mess. You offered a towel after the plumber told you it would be ruined and you said it was old and go ahead. The worst thing he cleaned up was the sewage off your floor, that had been leaking from the incorrectly installed broken toilet flange. We are not the most expensive plumbing shop in NWA, but we are the best and we have the reputation that proves it. You conveyed your frustration, multiple times, to the plumber and the office. We did not block you. For legal reasons, I requested you stop calling and harassing Springdale Plumbing. Again, I am sorry the work was not covered under your warranty. I believe you were treated well, you received superior service and you definitely have that portion of your plumbing system, professionally installed, to commercial plumbing standards Regards"

Jim Oxford is a gem. We bought a new house and needed multiple things repaired or replaced. Jim showed up when he said he would, he clearly and concisely told us our options, their prices, and what he recommended. All of the things he described we needed made perfect sense. He was polite and easy to have around. All of the repairs that he has done for us over the last 2 years work perfectly. He’s also funny.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mike and Jim for three years now. They have replaced a hot water heater, garbage disposal and worked on two toilets for me. Mike always calls quickly to ensure our appointment is confirmed (same day). Jim calls before he arrives and is always on time. He always goes above and beyond to fix the issue and anything else he notices. I strongly recommend Springdale plumbing for any of your needs. We put in a service request through our home warranty company and Springdale Plumbing contacted us to following morning. Jim arrived a couple of hours later, diagnosed our leak under the kitchen sink, quickly replaced a faulty hose, gave me details and answered a few questions, and was gone within 20 minutes. He was great; professional, no-nonsense and courteous. He also installed a new water heater for us in January 2022. We appreciate Jim and Springdale Plumbing, and we highly recommend them.
