"I needed some blood spots cleaned out of my carpet. M&M came and did the first cleaning but there was a stubborn stain that just kept coming back after the carpet dried. Marty from M&M came back 3 more times, at no additional charge, and got that stubborn stain out! He was a professional who refused to give up and used everything he had, including elbow grease, and now my carpet looks wonderful. Definitely recommend!!!"

"Yes, my project did get done. She was very nice very sweet. Did everything that was asked of her and more did something that she went above and beyond and I felt so grateful to have her here so grateful to have her respond and come help me and I loved everything about her work. I love everything about her personality. She is the best and I will be using her services again because she was totally awesome. The best cleaner I ever had and this was my first experience and I’m not going with anybody else, but her five stars everybody everybody use simply wise cleaning as your preferred company, but leave some days open for me. Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

Nylon carpet is widely considered one of the most durable and longest-lasting options, typically lasting 12 to 15 years. Its durability comes from its high resistance to wear, tear, stains, fading, and abrasions. It also resists liquid spills, insects, mold, and mildew, making it ideal for high-traffic areas like living rooms and hallways. For even greater longevity, frieze or Berber carpets are excellent choices that can last up to 20 to 25 years.

Beyond the material, a carpet's construction is key to its durability. Low-pile carpets with short, tight loops hold up better against wear than high-pile options. As a synthetic material, nylon is available in a vast range of colors and styles and often feels remarkably soft.

Yes, you can technically make a crawl space liveable, but the only way to do so is by converting it into a basement. While some crawl spaces are big enough to walk through and store large items, they lack appropriate insulation and space to be liveable.

In most cases, carpeting isn’t kind to the wood that it’s attached to. Most carpet installation uses adhesive or nailing strips, both of which will damage wood. Conversely, you can choose to use an adhesive designed to be removed from wood, in which case carpeting can actually protect your hardwood stairs.

Carpet installation typically starts with removing the old flooring, preparing the subfloor, laying underpadding for cushioning, and securing the new carpet with tack strips, making precise cuts to fit room dimensions.

No, thick carpet padding isn’t necessarily better than thinner padding. The appropriate padding thickness will depend on the type of carpet and the amount of foot traffic in the area.

For example, thick padding works well in low-traffic areas, like bedrooms, where you have soft and plush carpeting. However, thick carpet padding can damage low-pile carpet, which is used in the busiest parts of your home (like hallways and entryways). For that reason, it’s best to use thinner, heavier padding underneath carpet in high-traffic areas.
