Apparently I had over sized the HVAC system when I built my home, Matthew was able to reduce the unit by 1/2 ton, and replaced it with a more energy efficient unit, therefore reducing the electricity needed in the future.
On the appointed date of installation, the two man crew (Jamie and Jeremy) arrived on time, removed and replace the unit in a timely manner. They were courteous, respectful and performed their work in a professional manner. They were careful to take care my home, explained the new system to me and answered all questions that I had. Within a few hours, the unit was working, they cleaned the premises and left.
Today, August 27, 2014, Justin Armstead, called and came by to inspect Air Now's work and brought my final paperwork. He was professional and I consider him to be an asset to Air Now's staff. Air Now, did a great job.
Thanks to all concerned.

I have used this company twice and would call them again if I needed more removed! They are very professional and get the work done quickly!! Highly recommend them!!!!!
I was out of town when they came to remove this large pine tree. It seemed to me to be a very complicated job as it was close to my carport, deck and the power lines that run to my house. Not only was the removal of the tree successful they did an excellent job cleaning up. I asked them to...
David Sanford and his crew were great to work with! We could not have hired a better group to do the work we needed done. They built a roof over our two story porch. They removed all the old vinyl siding; replaced rotten wood; wrapped the entire house with weather proofing (which there was...
Trees & debris removed and area policed. I was completely satisfied with professionalism of owner and workers.
Visit for estimate on October 6th went very well where I felt we had developed a professional rapport. Jason, the owner, understood that we had a home showing on October 17th and assured that he would be able to provide the services in a timely manner before the showing, since I was first on...

Lead paint removal costs about $3,600, ranging from $1,500 to $5,800, depending on several factors, such as square footage, removal method, and its location in your home. Keep in mind that lead paint removal costs $8 to $17 per square foot, ensuring a permanent and maintenance-free fix.
Additional cost factors for lead paint removal include:
Location
Materials and equipment needed
Disposal method
Accessibility
Surface types
Repairs needed
Labor
Professional lead-paint abatement companies use a variety of methods to remove lead-based paint, depending on each particular situation. Some of the most common methods include:
Total removal: $8–$17 per square foot
Demolition and replacement: $1,000–$15,000 per project
Encapsulation: $4 per square foot
Enclosure: $10 per square foot
Chemical stripping: $10–$17 per square foot
Professional testing for lead paint costs about $300, ranging from about $250 to $700, depending on the square footage, accessibility, and location. However, testing for lead paint with a DIY home-testing kit costs about $25, but doesn’t guarantee accurate results. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends using a lead test kit that complies with the Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule, which has strict criteria for ensuring a more accurate reading.
Common home surfaces to test for lead include:
Walls
Windows
Doors
Molding and trim
Railings
A professional lead paint removal company should remove any lead-based paint from your home. You should not remove or paint over it yourself because handling lead-based paint poses health risks, according to the EPA. Professionals trained and certified to handle lead-based paint abatement use specialized equipment like HEPA vacuums and methods like chemical stripping and abrasive blasting to remove paint and particles as safely as possible. They are also trained on how to properly dispose of lead-based paint material.
You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.
