DHLS provides services not covered by the 811 buried utility locating services to private property owners, ex. home owners, business owners, and private property owners. DHLS accepts checks (with Approval), and credit cards (VISA, Master Card, and American Express, and Discover), yet full payment is required upon services rendered. DHLS provides reducing risks of property damage and injury to buried utilities on private property. Alabama State Law 94-497 states the only true method of locating a buried utility is hand digging it up, and exposing it. DHLS uses locating methods, and modes prescribed by law, But DHLS can not alter or modify any buried utility system. All buried utility systems remain property and the liability of the property owner. DHLS is licensed and insured, safety is our highest priority.

We can provide a warranty others do not, such as a two year labor and three year product warranty on most of our equipment. We build it right. Our invoicing depends on the project. If it is hourly its due upon completion. Projects are on a draw basis usually four (4) draws 40%, 40% 15% 5%. This can vary. "Unprofessional company that I will NEVER recommend to anyone. I understand that they are busy but it’s clear they don’t want people’s business. He came out 6 weeks ago to write up a quote and told me I’d have it in two days. As the weeks went by josh was completely unresponsive to my multiple requests for an update. He twice answered the phone and swore I must’ve lost the email and promised to have the quote to me that day. Once again I never got it. If your too good to do my $100k project then good for you, but be a man and tell me. Don’t continually waste my time. I have no respect for this guy or his company. You can’t trust his word and if you can’t trust his word you can’t trust anything about them. Run far away from them."
