They moved the furniture, tore out all the damage, replaced the damaged ceilings, painted, and then replaced the furniture. They made sure everything was clean before they left. They took the extra time to "work around" her bedroom (which also had ceiling damage which they repaired) so she could sleep in her own bed every night even though this cost them extra time and effort.
