"Wonderful. Arrived promptly and put ina full day work until job was finished. Stayed late some days to finish a certain part of project. Was respectful of my property and left areas clean. Even blew the leaves off my patio when cleaning his sawed areas. Gave me a reasonable price and I was extremely satisfied with the quality of work. Was very attentive to details. Wish all workmen had such a great work ethic. Very personable and professional, couldn’t ask for more. I had an accidental flooding of part of my house and he came out with very short notice and removed all the involved carpet. Then came the next week as arranged and removed all other carpet in preparation for the installation."

"I highly recommend his services. I frankly was not aware this 9 year old buckled carpet could be made to look like freshly laid carpet again. I thought it would need to be replaced and we are thrilled. This gentleman is polite, works quickly and delivers more than he promises. Carpet Stretching FAQs, answered by experts

Regular maintenance and professional repairs can extend the life of a carpet.

There are many types of carpet repairs that you might experience in your home, depending on the activity level in your home. Snags and tears are relatively common, especially if you have pets or tend to move furniture around often. Some other carpet repairs you might need include:

  • Burn damage

  • Water damage

  • Pet damage

  • Loose carpet

  • Severe stains

There could be several reasons why your carpet padding has adhered to the floor. Some of the most common reasons include:

  • There was intentional gluing or stapling to the surface.

  • The polyurethane and floor bonded over years of wear.

  • Pet urine, spills, or other substances leaked through the carpet and created a sticky surface.

If the carpeting in the home has not been changed in a long time, clearing off the padding underneath could be difficult. Pet urine can wreak havoc on carpeting and the flooring underneath. If you plan to reinstall carpeting, remember to use proper cleaning techniques for removing pet urine odors to prevent future problems.

There are a few carpet maintenance tips you’ll want to use to keep your carpet looking brand-new. Make sure you tackle stains immediately, and only use cleaners gentle enough for your carpet's specific fibers. You can even pop area rugs on top of wall-to-wall carpeting to change the look of your space and protect the carpet below.

Vomit contains organic fluids along with whatever else comes out with it. When left without cleaning, vomit, and its odor can reach deep into carpet fibers and become very difficult to remove without a deep cleaning. In some cases, the combination can cause permanent carpet staining.
