"Highly recommend! Jason did a beautiful job with my living room remodel. Started with an 80s style ugly paneling and green carpet. Now has the farmhouse look I’ve been wanting for a few years now but was too intimidated to start myself. Very pleased with the professionalism and quality work delivered!"

"Trevor was very professional went above and beyond my expectations.I explained what I would like for my fence and he built exactly what I wanted. It was even rained one of the days and he still worked to get the job done before it was to be complete. Also had a couple of leaks that he fixed for me before he left. Will definitely use his service again."

Range Hoods questions, answered by experts

Regular cleaning of filters and checking ducting ensures effective operation.

Ensures safe electrical connections and proper venting, improving kitchen air quality.

A higher CFM will make the price of your range hood more expensive. It can be challenging to speculate how much the CFM rating affects price, but ductless range hoods—that don’t need as high of a CFM as ducted range hoods—are less expensive than their alternative. On average, ductless hoods cost between $100 and $300, while ducted hoods can cost as much as $1,000.

Smooth galvanized metal ducting is best and safest for venting a hood range. It’s best to avoid flexible and corrugated types of ducting, as these options don’t provide ample airflow and may not meet local code. For specific advice on which type of duct might be best for your kitchen, reach out to a range hood installation professional.

By positioning ductwork for optimal airflow and reducing potential leaks.
