During the period of time that we inspected your roof we did hire a new repair technician due to the recent hail storm. We did terminate this employee shortly after your experience. We do have a zero alcohol and tobacco policy on our jobs.

Service Provider ResponseIn business, and we think in general as good neighbors to others, you want to do good by everyone. We always strive to leave our customers happy with their experience, and treated as we would treat our own family. We do have to acknowledge, that you can't please everyone every time, and that not all contractors and customers are the right fit for each other. We believe, and as is evidenced in this review, that that is the case here. Ms. [Member Name Removed]' roof was installed back in July of 2016, and this is the first we are hearing of any complaints of workmanship and service - 1 year later. In fact, a full walk-through, post installation, was performed to her satisfaction. The roof color she selected is the one the was ordered and installed, to which we have any necessary evidence showing such. Any debris she is finding now, 1 year later, is not due to an installation issue. However, her home is right in the hail hit area, so we wouldn't be surprised if she's had some wind and hail damage from April until now that may have affected the roof - especially the granular. EZ Roof never pulls crew members off of a job to tend to another. We do however, employ multiple crews, and have crew members that have various specialties. Crew members may switch jobs depending on which skills are needed at the time. We would never de-prioritize one job for another. We also do not promise or guarantee an installation duration or completion date, as there are variables outside of our control, such as unforeseen work that must be completed (additional layers of roofing to be removed, additional rotted decking to be replaced, etc.), weather delays, and more. We do try to provide our best estimate for planning, and due to our many years in the industry, that is pretty accurate. However, an educated estimate is the best we can provide. Clean up and professionalism are two of our highest priorities and are never taken lightly. If a customer ever notices as much as a single nail, we are happy to send someone out with a magnet to re-clean the property thoroughly until complete satisfaction. We understand that children and dogs are often using these areas, and you may even be driving your car through them, so we take this very seriously. In regard to the storage house, the contract signed by Ms. [Member Name Removed] is for the main structure only, with no mention of a storage house - nor is there any record of this being addressed with our office. All work on this property was completed per contract, and professionally. In most circumstances, we would further investigate any claims of unprofessionalism of our staff. However, in this instance, we believe Ms. [Member Name Removed]' claims have more to do with a personal attack than the actual truth. We cannot comment further on that matter at this time. As for our workers, we resent the claim that our workers are undocumented immigrants. We have a diverse staff, including roofers that are non-Caucasian. However, we find this claim both offensive racially charged. We, like most employers, use E-Verify --an Internet-based system that compares information from an employee's Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, to Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Social Security Administration (SSA), and Department of State (DOS) records to confirm that the employee is authorized to work in the United States. At EZ Roof, we work diligently to bring our customers the most professional labor in the industry. We regret that Ms. [Member Name Removed] has turned her interaction with EZ Roof into this, but we hope to offer clarity on the grave misrepresentation provided in this review.
Service Provider ResponseThe repairs for this job began during the week when the repair technician was able to stop by this property earlier than the scheduled appointment time coming up that weekend. Repairs began, and the scheduled appointment time was maintained as well to complete the work. Unfortunately, the customers were not satisfied with the completed repair work. We attempted to reach out to the customers to resolve this issue for them, but could not reach them in any way, and did not receive follow up from our phone or email messages left for them either. We would have loved to help resolved their dissatisfaction, but unfortunately, were never given the opportunity. We do feel it is important to note here as well, that our scope of work here was only this: Two bundles of three tab shingles, One sheet plywood, Four 1*4*10, One gutter- corner down spout, seal and caulk.
