"I can't begin to convey the dissatisfaction in quality of service from Blair Windows. We ordered windows for our entire home going on about a year ago from time of order to receiving the windows. The workmen have been out to my over 3 times to replace the largest window in home and cracked my original window. My daughter is getting married in one week and I have a big piece of tape covering the crack in the window that sits in front of the house. Needless to say, I will never order any services again and don't recommend!!!"

Since 1946, Cain Awning has been committed to satisfying our customer's needs. Please allow us to partner with you on your next residential or commercial awning project.

"Do not use this business. I hired them to install a retractable awning for my house. The owner came over, looked at the plans of my house (though he says he did not), and told me it was possible to install the awning. I relied on their word as professionals and purchased an awning from them. I had to wait a while because of COVID, but the awning was installed and looked great. Then, after about 20 to 25 uses of the awning, it started to pull the brick off the side of my house. I contacted Cain Awning, they removed the awning, took it, and offered no refund or to cover the cost to fix the brick. They did nothing to fix the improperly installed awning and took my property that I paid for, and they refuse to, at the very least, give back the awning I paid thousands of dollars for. I have contacted them and have been very polite, and they are not responding. I am now out the cost of the retractable awning, which was not cheap, and the brick work to fix my house due to their mistake. Their product looks good, but don’t rely on them to install it correctly or to do right to address their own mistake if they make one on your house."

Yes, you can convert a fabric awning to a metal one. You just need to swap the fabric for metal panels, which are more durable and weather-resistant. However, the support frame will probably need reinforcement to handle the added weight. You should consult a pro to address any structural concerns.
