"I was so impressed with Trevor and his crew with the installation of my water tank/pump that I did not hesitate to contact him again to repair damage to my roof and insulation. His communication is fantastic. He always replies in a timely manner. Trevor guarantees his work. I had some follow-up questions and he did not hesitate to explain things to me. I trust him and his advice. Next project, having Rhino construction start painting my house next summer. It is reassuring having someone I can trust! Thank you!"

Owner and operator, John Wiggins started the company - Work of Art Drywall & Construction in 2003. With over 35 years industry experience, we guarantee that if given the opportunity to earn your business and work with you, we will exceed your expectations.

"John is arrogant, which would be okay if the work was the quality he bragged about. He worked on my downstairs drywall and painting for a month but the work was so bad, my general contractor is having to redo it all. Paint was only sprayed, not back-rolled; drywall repairs "popped" out after paint was applied, edging was shoddy. For someone with "35 years of experience" and who does "exquisite work" I am shocked. His assistant was also arrogant and masked window frames with regular masking tape which pulled off a lot of the trim paint. The other assistant cut through window caulk while trying to remove masking. This poor job has cost me nine weeks of repair time due to it having to be redone. Plus, he also smokes and left cigarette butts in my yard. He broke the globe on a ceiling hanging light and never replaced it."

"It went very well, we were not sure what to expect, this was our first time having our house painted, but we are very happy with how the guys worked together and how Albert kept checking on them as he was working too, to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. And it was! Not only were we happy with his work, but we would refer him at any time to anyone… Albert even checked back with us to make sure we were still happy and did a few extra touchups for us that were not required. As a sidenote, he also painted our back deck and we were very happy with that as well! Thank you, J&H Blessed Painting!"

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

You can wallpaper and paint over certain types of wallpaper, but it’s usually a better idea to remove it first. Removing the wallpaper and prepping the wall before painting is a good way to guarantee a smooth finish that looks professional. If you ever have a moisture or water issue after painting over wallpaper, the paper will bubble and damage your wall. Additionally, you should never paint over wallpaper already peeling or otherwise damaged, as this will leave obvious imperfections in your wall and could lead to additional problems.

It is possible to paint stucco siding. Painting stucco offers the advantages of providing a refreshed appearance and matching the patched area with the rest of the painted structure. However, there are some considerations to keep in mind.

Painting the entire structure, including stucco patches, can make it more challenging to reapply stucco in the future if desired. Stucco is a breathable material that allows moisture to evaporate, while paint can create a barrier, potentially trapping moisture.

To minimize these risks, it's important to choose high-quality breathable paint and ensure proper surface preparation. Before deciding to paint stucco, careful consideration should be given to the long-term implications and desired aesthetic.

Yes, you should prime a fiberglass bathtub before painting it. The primer improves the paint’s adhesion, strengthening and increasing the durability of the final result. While you can buy primer separately, bathtub and tile refinishing kits come with a primer designed to work with the paint and hardener.

Yes, it’s still important to wear a mask when working with low-VOC paint, as it still releases a small amount of volatile organic compounds. Don’t forget to also add additional ventilation by opening windows and setting up fans. This will help take care of odors and dissipate them quicker as the paint dries.

Generally, you should paint your bathroom every three to four years. Seven years is usually the maximum time you should allow between refreshes. How often you should repaint your bathroom depends on the type of material you used on the walls or ceiling, the average moisture and humidity level in the room, and the quality of the paint.
