Additionally, any abrasive material or even the scrubbing side of a sponge can scratch your glass or coatings on the glass, gradually making the mirror look hazy.

If you decide to forgo your old windows and upgrade them to modern day technology, there may be some people interested in the old windows. You can try selling them on an online marketplace for around $50 to $100 each (so long as the window wasn’t damaged during the removal). This can also help off set the overall price to replace them.

You can clean the oven window the same way you clean the oven walls. Make a paste of baking soda and water and let it sit on the window overnight before wiping it off with a damp cloth. You might find it helpful to rub the baking soda paste in with an old toothbrush.
