From the very first phone call to set up an estimate Affordable Fence and Gates was amazing. I had previously received an insane quote from a competitor (almost twice the cost!), that was going to take weeks to complete once started. I was disheartened to say the least, but was so happy once I spoke with AF&G. They sent someone (David) out quickly and he provided me with an estimate within a day. The estimate was more than fair, and very thorough. I appreciated all of the detail that went into the estimate (unlike the other guy) and he spent time answering my myriad of questions. Once I paid the deposit, I understood it would be 8-12 weeks before work could begin (they are understandably busy, they do such quality work!). As promised I received a call about 7 weeks later asking if the following week would work for me. They estimated 3 days to compete the job (almost 300 feet of steel fence with gates). The day of service two men (Steven and Abdon) showed up right on time. They were kind, incredibly hard working and timely! I was amazed that just the two of them could remove my old fence and install the new one in three days, but they did. They worked consistently through each day, picking up as they went and (importantly) being so patient with my neighbors barking dogs. They were also so patient with me as I walked around with family on video chat bragging about my new fence and showing them progress. Our house backs a heavily trafficked alley, and they worked extra hard one day to get the fence up so that we had more security over night. Often times people are different in front of the customer than they are in private. My neighbor spent a lot of time outside and she kept gushing about how kind and polite they were. Any time I spoke with the two gentlemen they had impeccable manners, and were just overall incredibly pleasant. None of the niceties matter if the end product isn’t good. But my fence and gates are AMAZING. I didn’t know how happy a well made fence could make me! It is a strong fence, not going anywhere. The gates swing perfectly, and lock securely. I really could not be happier and I highly recommend that anyone looking for an affordable fence or gate not look any further. Give them a call today

When I called and talked to Bill about the installation, he was very knowledgable and asked good questions about what I really wanted. (I first thought I wanted the door in the sliding glass door). He explained the whole process and helped me realize that the door in the wall would work much better for my needs. He let me know what to expect when the installer came and scheduled an appointment. I had a very tight time line the morning of the install, so when I called Bill and let him know that, he reassured me that Greg, the installer, would call me and let me know exactly when he would be there. He arrived right on time and was completed in just over an hour. When Greg arrived, he was very friendly, and professional. He went right to work and I was so impressed, he made sure to cover things and make as little a mess as possible, The dogs sure were curious about what he was doing!!! It was a very pleasant experience. We and the dogs love the new door. We got a medium sized door. We have beagel mix (30 lbs) and a Tibetian terrier (28 lbs) and it is perfect for them. The door did seem a little pricey, but after the quick install and seeing the quality of the door and knowing that if we move, we can take it with us, it is woth the cost. I would recommend Hale Pet Door in the future

I normally leave the gate open to my fence which allows my dog an escape route approximately 20 feet wide. Because I like to keep my gate open I needed a method to contain my dog and prevent him from leaving. Dog Guard showed up to provide a solution by placing a buried electric fence around the opening of the gate. The quote went off without a hitch and was reasonably priced. Abe measured the distance from the home to the gate and then the opening around the open area. A few days later Dog Guard showed up and installed the fence underground. Everything looks professionally installed and all the wire is hidden. The dog now has a collar with a receiver that he only wears when outside. We remove it when he is inside. The dog does not leave the yard. I would recommend Dog Guard to anyone. Good Luc

Completed in one day, including the training, and it's not some ugly intrusive thing . There were 2 young men who were very friendly and efficient who installed the fence. Not only did they install the electric fence but they also trained my critters as well. The results are better than I expected, so I am very happy to recommend them. This is the 2nd review I have written, but I don't know what happened to the first one. Anyway, many thanks again

Outstanding! We were every excited in the change of our dogs' behavior. His suggestions were not only helpful, but easy for us to practice and implement. We are so thrilled with the immediate results that we are working on our homework with the dogs and have already booked a follow up session next week. You will not regret asking for their help. You and your dogs will be much happier after having this service

For my current needs, they replied quickly and referred me to a handyman service that found the right contractor for my needs. My dogs now have an unusual looking but covered metal mesh dog run from the doggie door out onto the lawn within the walled yard. Doubt any more life threatening coyote or bobcat or hawk attacks could happen again. Their dog training services were top notch when I was using them in the past. Doggie door has been well done and sturdy for 9 years now

They were great. They showed up on time, were very clean, even to the point of wearing paper booties over their shoes. They cut the stucco very neatly, installed the double flap dog door, sealed the edges with caulking, and vacuumed and cleaned everything up. They also kept all the wall parts and wrapped them up neatly for me to keep in case I wanted someday to removed the dog door and repair the wall. The door has been in place for 9 years now and it has been of excellent quality. I have two large dogs going in and out constantly and have not had to replace either of the flaps

First, let me say-- I am not related to Jack. I did not know him before we found him on the Internet. This is important to note because you might doubt the authenticity of my glowing report otherwise. What luck that we found him! I was less than thrilled when my husband said he wanted to drill holes in the garage wall to make a kennel set up for our dogs. I envisioned an ugly attachment to the garage. From the first meeting Jack was sensitive to my concerns. He listened respectfully and then made constructive suggestions. The finished product was the result of a collaboration that was better than I could have ever hoped for. The kennel is a thing of beauty, because Jack is a perfectionist. He will not rest until he is confident that he's done the job to the very best of his ability. Occasionally he would point out some small negative detail that seemed minor to me, but he would not accept. He also understood how important our animals are to us. He always had a sensitive outlook for creating a safe environment to contain them. He made many excellent suggestions in this regard. The kennel was not inexpensive because of the materials we specified, like Priefert livestock fencing which we obtained from Reddington Ranch and Cattle Company in Wilcox, AZ, washed river stone to be easier on pet paws, high quality doggie doors, etc. Jack spent many hours over multiple days making everything perfect. His labor costs for the services he provided were frankly too low. Something I dreaded became a structure to be proud of. Thanks to Jack! I'd pick Jack for any job. He's a first rate guy

I have a panic stricken, paranoid bird dog-mix. In the past 3 years she has destroyed most of my yard and escaped through all of my blockades. In frustration I decided on a dog run installed in the yard. I shopped at Petsmart, Home Depot, etc. They all ran $600-1,000 for "a kit" and no installation. Installation was a separate charge and they did not look strong enough for my Coco. So I went on line. OK Corrals was one of the first sites that jumped up on Google. There were good photos of their work. I checked Angie's List and found a great review so I called Jack Taylor of OK Corrals and he answered the phone. He showed up for an estimate w/in 48 hours, job started in another 48 hours, and finished in 10 days. His estimate was the final bill. No surprises. He would have finished sooner but we had some monsoons during that week (as some of you may remember). He had multiple color choices for paint. and came with some of his ideas to keep my dog from jumping over the shorter wall: putting in an 30 degree angled fence at that end (that would make the dog fall on her back if she attempted to climb). I was worried Coco would chew up the gas meter and pipes in one of her "fits". He had an answer for that and welded a "cage" of protection. He personally welded the fencing which is more like a corral. There was nothing prefab about it and he says it will hold a gorilla in. He also said he would come back and reinforce my dog run if Coco turned out to be more than a gorilla. I highly recommend him. Good worker. Good guy

First a note on the price: I paid $1000 for a LIFETIME of dog training. So after the basics, which I've been doing for the past few months, I can also come back to Garvin's at any time. This makes the thing a GREAT DEAL. (I paid all at once, but it is possible to set up a payment account.) So the money sounds high, but it's not. I paid much less at PetSmart and got, well, much less in both time and quality. (Note: Doggie Day Care is separate, and you can pay for that by the day or save some money with packages.) On the training: Unlike at the box store, I'm getting services based upon my dog and what he's up to right now. That's actual training. I'm just really impressed. For training my dog, this is access to expertise at a reasonable price. I've gone to weekly lessons over the past 3 months and taken my dog to day care twice a week. Training has been excellent, tranformative for both my dog and myself. I'm so happy with the dynamics in class and the way my trainer follows up with my dog when he's in daycare. There is an adaptability that comes from expertise and an all-embracing approach at Garvin's that was totally absent at PetSmart's generic puppy class. I learn differently than my dog, and the trainer is great with both of our "learning styles." Her expertise and experience really show. As for doggie day care, it really works. I wanted my puppy to learn social skills and burn off energy. Garvin's staff totally train on-site and mix up groups of dogs throughout the day. The results of weekly training and bi-weekly day care have been so positive. In such a short time, my dog became a better dog. He learned more quickly than I! The trainer is excellent with people and pets. I am a more confident trainer at home because my (and my dog's) trainer is really listening and adapts solutions to fit our needs. She even visited my dog in dog day care for some impromptu training when he was having a "bad dog" day. On the Dog Day Care: They get to play! They get to amble between three different rooms as well as outdoor fenced-in spaces. I took a tour and it's more like a super-safe playground than boarding. The staff is attentive to the dogs and I love getting a "report card" for each day. They are both safety-oriented and play-oriented, and the place is cleaner-than-clean. My heart was also warmed to know that a number of staff volunteer with dog rescue organizations. There's just an all-embracing feeling to the place
