Jack at OK Corrals comes across as a very likable and genuine person, however, once you've made final payment to him, he will no longer stand by his work or communicate about it. My kennel is strong and sturdy, but it was not completed per the specifications detailed on my work order. My work order clearly states weep holes to prevent flooding...they were not installed and he had to come back, and when he came back he installed weep holes that did not function properly. Also, please note, it took him about a week or maybe a little longer to even come back to fix his initial mistake. He and his wife Melissa harassed me repeatedly for the final payment to be paid, and I repeatedly told them I would be happy to pay it once the job was complete just as the work order states. No doubt in my mind, if I had paid before he came back, he would have never come back. Anyhow, his design for rainwater drainage was so flawed, I had to hire another company to come out and fix his substandard work. I paid OK Corrals $3700 dollars for a kennel that was nothing but a headache until I paid someone else to fix it. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Overall it went ok. Jack is a very nice guy. I needed my existing area prepped for the river rock/gravel bed and it was a bit of a challenge for them to find someone to do the work. We had some mis-communications about whether or not the price I was quoted included concrete steps to be poured outside my new doggie door. It did get resolved to my satisfaction. They also didn't initially install the quoted amount of river rock but again after bringing it to their attention they took care of it. The kennel gate itself is top notch and I am very pleased with that.

When the kennel was first delivered, the company was very polite and said they would come out to fix the problem. Then they said they could not come out anymore, but that they would contact someone local to fix things. CONCLUSION...... The problem has never been fixed and the company no longer returns my calls. I have left several messages, including compassionate ones inquiring about possible health concerns with the company owner. I didn't think they were the type of company to ignore their customers. Hoping nothing is wrong with the owners.... however, if everything is OK.... I am VERY disappointed that they dropped the ball on me. I can not clean the kennel with ease, as they had promised (given it had the proper design). Maybe they will read this new review and contact me to get back in good standing.

Jack was very responsive, always called me right back. Jack was always professional and prompt. He designed and completed our dog kennel within the same week. We are very pleased with his design and most importantly, we feel our little dogs are safe. I would recommend Jack and OK Corrals for anyone seeking a well built kennel for their dogs.

I have a panic stricken, paranoid bird dog-mix. In the past 3 years she has destroyed most of my yard and escaped through all of my blockades. In frustration I decided on a dog run installed in the yard. I shopped at Petsmart, Home Depot, etc. They all ran $600-1,000 for "a kit" and no installation. Installation was a separate charge and they did not look strong enough for my Coco. So I went on line. OK Corrals was one of the first sites that jumped up on Google. There were good photos of their work. I checked Angie's List and found a great review so I called Jack Taylor of OK Corrals and he answered the phone. He showed up for an estimate w/in 48 hours, job started in another 48 hours, and finished in 10 days. His estimate was the final bill. No surprises. He would have finished sooner but we had some monsoons during that week (as some of you may remember). He had multiple color choices for paint. and came with some of his ideas to keep my dog from jumping over the shorter wall: putting in an 30 degree angled fence at that end (that would make the dog fall on her back if she attempted to climb). I was worried Coco would chew up the gas meter and pipes in one of her "fits". He had an answer for that and welded a "cage" of protection. He personally welded the fencing which is more like a corral. There was nothing prefab about it and he says it will hold a gorilla in. He also said he would come back and reinforce my dog run if Coco turned out to be more than a gorilla. I highly recommend him. Good worker. Good guy.

First, let me say-- I am not related to Jack. I did not know him before we found him on the Internet. This is important to note because you might doubt the authenticity of my glowing report otherwise. What luck that we found him! I was less than thrilled when my husband said he wanted to drill holes in the garage wall to make a kennel set up for our dogs. I envisioned an ugly attachment to the garage. From the first meeting Jack was sensitive to my concerns. He listened respectfully and then made constructive suggestions. The finished product was the result of a collaboration that was better than I could have ever hoped for. The kennel is a thing of beauty, because Jack is a perfectionist. He will not rest until he is confident that he's done the job to the very best of his ability. Occasionally he would point out some small negative detail that seemed minor to me, but he would not accept. He also understood how important our animals are to us. He always had a sensitive outlook for creating a safe environment to contain them. He made many excellent suggestions in this regard. The kennel was not inexpensive because of the materials we specified, like Priefert livestock fencing which we obtained from Reddington Ranch and Cattle Company in Wilcox, AZ, washed river stone to be easier on pet paws, high quality doggie doors, etc. Jack spent many hours over multiple days making everything perfect. His labor costs for the services he provided were frankly too low. Something I dreaded became a structure to be proud of. Thanks to Jack! I'd pick Jack for any job. He's a first rate guy.
