Xtreme CleanI have had the pleasure of hiring Xtreme Clean for the past six years for all my carpet cleaning needs, and they (Owner Cara Ordonez and carpet cleaning genius, Albert) have provided the finest service of any contractor I've employed during my 13 years in Tucson. Cara goes the extra mile to schedule the job for your convenience, not hers. She is unfailingly courteous, easy to talk to, and professional. As for Albert, he genuinely enjoys transforming old, dirty rugs into clean, spotless, like-new carpeting. Remember, there's no substitute for enthusiasm for doing things right. First he sprays cleaner on the entire carpet from one end of the house to the other. By the time he finishes spraying, it's back to the starting point for the unique rotary cleaning machine that removes dirt and all other unwelcome material better than any cleaning wand I've ever seen. After he finishes the rotary-cleaning, Albert then uses a suction wand to double - clean the entire carpet while removing excess moisture to speed up the drying process. So look, all of the above is just a very long-winded way of saying that if you want your dirty carpeting cleaned right, Xtreme Clean is the answer.- Richard C.

the housecleaner s were excellent, however, dealing with Handy was totally a different story. They don't return emails or phone calls. In order to cancel my services, I had to call Angie's List who then forwarded me to Handy. Again, the housekeepers were excellent, the company a nightmare.

They were scheduled to come between 8:15 and 8:45 in the morning, and we were told that they would call first. Showed up at 8:15 and when I asked if they had called, I was told "Nah, it's the first job of the morning, usually don't call." A little inconvenient, but fine. Asked him for 10 minutes to finish getting ready then. I noticed they weren't wearing masks, so I also asked if they had any masks they could wear. His response: "Well, we got our shots, did you get yours?" I told him that we were vaccinated, but I would still prefer it if they wore masks to enter our home. I was told "Yeah, we got them but you're the first in a long f***ing time to ask. We'll get them, but we hate wearing them." I told him that I was just asking him to be respectful. Came back 5 minutes later to say that they were no longer going to perform the service. When asked why, he said "Because we don't have to wear masks." Instead of having a conversation with me about why I'm requesting that they wear masks (both my parents have Stage IV cancer, and beyond that I'm not comfortable still having unmasked strangers in my home, especially if they're working on air circulation units), he became aggressive, cursed me out, and basically stormed off. You'd think that I asked him to promise me his first-born son. Called the company to discuss it with them, and was told that he was the owner. Christine, who deals with scheduling, was very courteous and professional, though still couldn't understand why we asked them to wear masks. A shame because they seem to have good reviews for their work, but customer service is absolutely atrocious. If you're looking for respectful professionals, then avoid this company at all costs.

NO SHOW - NO CALL Had a scheduled appointment. Connected with her by phone the day before to confirm everything which she did. She asked for 1/2 hour of time to get water in between her first job and mine. I said of course and we adjusted the time. She never showed up and did not call to say she could not come. I left messages, including my phone number, on two different phone numbers and never got a call back at all. She new I had to do work to get the space ready for her, so knowing she was not coming would have been extremely helpful. She is Angie Certified business. It was tough to not have her show, but her complete disregard for me by not contacting me that day or day after is too much to overlook. I'm sure there will be some 'excuse' given once this review has been written.
