"Dish washer failure. We ran washer before going to bed and woke up to a lot of water that leaked onto the kitchen floor. I cleaned up the water, but we were concerned that the floors would hardwood floors would buckle/ruin. They came out quickly, were professional and set up their equipment and their containment and we were able to save our floors. "As far as I can tell they did a good job of removing the mold and drying out the area, but I can only see the above floor part not the crawl space. They did not remove the damaged, moldy siding on the exterior, but I believe they wanted me & my homeowners insurance to make an overall plan to do that part of the remediation before removing part of my siding. They could have provided more information in advance on how the process would go rather than spending so much effort 'making the sale.' Better communication and punctuality would have been appreciated. I don't know that cost of the service yet; I paid them $1000, which is my insurance deductible, and they submitted the rest of the bill to my insurance. I don't know yet if all will be covered.show more

"We had experienced a water leakage into our carpet on the first floor, so I contacted experts of Hometown Restoration and spoke with the owner, who was helpful and answered all of my questions. They made a schedule and arrived at our house on that day. First, they inspected the place nicely and then explained to us the whole process of what they would be going to do. It was excellent advice, so I hired them to fix our floors. They could altogether remove all of the water and dry things out, and we are delighted with the work they did.
