The pricing seemed fair. The owner is honest, speaks good english, shows up on time, works hard and does beautiful work.   We highly recommend SOD Home Group for any large construction project. After finishing my excellent research about them, we hired them to make some significantly large repairs to our home. Oren was very up front about what needed to be done, and he listened to our concerns and ideas of what we need and want and then came up with a super detailed plan of what needed to be done. We found Oren as a very honest, professional, easy to work with person, competent, and extremely knowledgeable about his trades. Oren was present and working with his teams almost all the time they were present. Oren always answered his phone right away whenever we had questions (and believe us we had so many questions and comments). Our repairs and construction job required expertise in many aspects of construction at our home. From framing, waterproofing, stucco, structural repairs, tile work, drywall painting etc. all of which got done in a great and timely manner. We do a lot of our own repairs , and have had many contractors doing projects too, but we found SOD Home Group to be by far the best construction company we have ever seen or worked with. Their prices are fair, their work is excellent, on time, clean and the quality is fantastic. Oren is knowledgeable about whatever he is working on and always kept me updated on whatever aspect of the job he was working on. A wonderful person to work with.   We were so fortunate to find SOD home group to redesign our house. It has been a while since we did any remodeling or updates. Oren was attentive to each and every detail during the work. The type of materials, the paint of the walls, the combination of the cabinets and more and more… were picked up one by one to deliver us a ‘look like new‘ home. The whole coordination of who will work and when, what will they do daily, weekly and monthly – was managed by Oren. The office staff always made sure that the schedule and perfection are the top priority and they kept informing us regarding each and every step of the work.   Luxcess Home by SOD Builders remodeled our existing garage and converted it to a man cave while adding some space that will use as a 3 car garage. The new car garage included a walk in attic, new laundry room with a room for our dog, a garage wrap around walkway, a new kitchen remodeling, and new stamp concrete driveway while all of that was as part of an additional 1100 sq./ft. of new addition.   About a few months ago Eli and his team did a complete kitchen renovation for us, so once that was complete we decided to renovate the rest of the main floor, excluding the family room. We had no hesitation in calling Eli to come in and do this job for us. He started right on the scheduled date and finished exactly when he said he would. The work was done exactly as we wanted it with a very professional result. The stucco removal from all the ceilings and installation of crown moulding really brought the house up to date and gave it a more modern feel. I would not hesitate to work with Eli again.   Throughout our entire process we received incredible customer service and support. Communication was outstanding with weekly and daily contact from our site manager during the project. Overall the build was amazing value with high quality finishes even with adjustments to plans and specifications. The process was very efficient, taking 14 months from first day on site to handover even with extreme wet weather at the end thanks to our very efficient site manager.   These guys are VERY busy... Eli and Moran (pronounce Moe-Han) are straight shooters and probably more NY than SF in terms of style, but they are veryknowledgableand honest about their work. They can control a lot of the costs because they have their own painters, electricians, plumbers as workers - not as subs - this is great from a timing perspective for getting the job done and the liability for work - you know who is responsible for repairs. They also do the design work on the kitchens / bathrooms so you don't have to go outside. Our initial meeting was pretty interesting as we each had to learn about communication styles and determine how we would/could communicate with each other if they were our contractor. The only drawback with them is that they do have specific design ideas and - while they maybe valid - their style makes them come off as pushy vs informative (for example the use of stamped concrete vs pavers for our back yard or stucco vs siding for the back of our house - these rest is siding they suggested stucco for the expansion). Their estimate was very detailed but did leave a lot of room for questions about materials, etc... definitely a two step process - and maybe three. We did not end up using them, but they were a strong consideration and our #2 choiceshow more

  Excellent experience with Black Diamond Pavers. I had them replace two concrete driveways after one of them cracked. The project manager and designer, Michael Martinez, was a unique combination of informative, easy going (no pressure), and meticulous. The prices were competitive and the design was spot on. I've received numerous compliments on the driveways from my neighbors. They send a full crew of 3 folks out and they work hard, use the right equipment, and are clearly professional. The crew leader, Juan, was especially helpful. Although they had all of the gas and water lines marked in advance, one of the water pipes broke (it was not buried as deep as it should have been). He was quick to inform me what took place and worked immediately to repair it while Michael, the PM, drove out to make sure it was fixed correctly. While a busted water pipe is usually not a good thing, in this case, it showed their professionalism and their commitment to taking care of their customersshow more
