"I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the roofing project you were contracted to perform at my property. The handling of this project has been deeply unsatisfactory, both in terms of workmanship and financial transparency. Summary of Events: On Start Date you provided an initial bid of $10,000 to replace the roof, plus a $350 permit fee. You later advised that due to the poor condition of the existing roof, some wood would need replacement. You stated this would incur additional costs, and I agreed to an added $7,000, which I promptly paid. Subsequently, you informed me that the back of the building was unstable and required structural reinforcement before proceeding. You provided an estimate of $14,000 for that work. At this point, I became concerned and frustrated. As a licensed professional, I asked you more than once to clarify whether the joist/structural work should be done before or after the roof replacement. You clearly and consistently advised that the roof should be done first. Based on your direction, I proceeded accordingly. When the structural reinforcement phase arose, I solicited bids from other contractors and hired a separate professional to complete the joist work. Charlie determined what needed to be done and had his men start the process of jacking up the second floor and installing the support needed since when originally built, the load bearing walls did not have the support needed. Despite being very busy, Charlie squeezed my job in and his guys showed up on time every day till the job was done. They were respectful, never slacked off, but worked constantly and cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. They did a great job! This was a very unique and difficult problem to resolve but Charlie and his crew did it and did it well and at a very reasonable cost. I am so happy with the job they did and will definitely hire them again."

Gerardo came over with his crew and promised to get us an estimate in 1 week. 2 weeks passed. During that time, I called him everyday, no answer. I went to put in an offer on the house and suddenly it was pending sale. The house came with all materials to repair within purchase price and most work had already been done. Every bone in my body is telling me that Gerardo snaked us and either took the property for himself or has something to do with the house being snatched from us. He refused to take my or my husbands calls to this day. This company is not trust worthy and definitely not investor reliable. Would not recommend to anyone!"
