Very messy. Splatters all over lower walls and base trim. Foreign particles not cleaned up prior to pooring protruding though finished coating. Tons of paint touchup to do after, smears on walls, trim and doors. Not home interior quality. Would be great for garage floor and patio floor covering. Nice people. Oversold expected finish and time expected to complete job. Three days turned into seven. 1250 square foot house.

USA Floor-Tec did an absolutley amazing job on our driveway repair and stamped concrete deck repair. They went above and beyond to make the color and pattern match the existing stamped concrete. They also meticulously repaired and resurfaced our damaged driveway. All of the guys working on the project were very respectful and professional. Taylor who was overseeing the job was wonderful to work with. He communicated with us consistanly and clearly on the progress of the job and what we could expect. Taylor took extra time and effort to make sure that everything about the job was quality work, he also insured that all construction debris was cleaned up on a daily basis. I would highly recommend Jason, Taylor and everyone at USA Floor-Tec for any job you may have.

Couldn't possibly be happier with this crew. I had met with a few contractors on my flooring project, and nothing quite felt like a fit until Paul came out to have a look. It was a night/day difference from the rest. He knew what he was looking at and knew exactly what to recommend. His experience was obvious and hired him on the spot. Theirs is a family biz and all are great. Knowledgeable, efficient, fair, and conscientious -- they took extra time to make sure details I probably would have missed were done perfectly. The short version: a poor paint job and terrible customer service from a company run by a bully. Do not trust this company with your home. Pictures included in my Google review since I can't upload them here. Alvarez Painting (owner Paul, his son, and another employee) spent 2 days in April 2019 painting the ~20 doors in our home, as well as several doorframes and 2 rooms of baseboards. They did a rough job from the start, with thin and missed spots on all of the doors, as well as entire sections of doorframes that were missed completely or missed their second coat of paint. I noticed some of these issues on our final review and spent about an hour with the son getting things touched up; Paul spent that time rushing his son along and yelling at the other employee, as well as hurrying me to stop. I wasn't thrilled about the shade of white that the paint turned out (had been almond, they'd repainted using Extra White from Sherwin Williams but it still looked yellow and Paul said that was the best it would be). I paid them about $1800. After they left, I noticed more thin spots, the missed doorframes, etc and contacted Paul about them fixing these issues. He said they would come out after Memorial Day but completely ignored me after I tried multiple times to get something scheduled. I disputed <$200 of the painting charge with my credit card company to compensate for the work I'd have to put in to fixing the missed & poorly done spots but didn't dispute the whole charge because at the time I felt that would be unfair. In November 2019, I finally found the time to touch up the doors myself. I used the exact same paint type that they had, but wasn't able to use the exact can of paint because they'd left it open in the garage and it dried out. I did the touchups and immediately realized that what I'd just applied was a much whiter color than they'd applied. I had 2 other painting companies out to give me an assessment and estimate to fix - they both said that the paint had been watered down or otherwise improperly applied, and that's why there was a color difference. I contacted Paul again about getting a refund, as I would have to repaint everything they'd done because there were now whiter painted areas on every surface. He called me a liar and lied about how long they spent at my house (it was only 2 days, he said they were there for 5 and came back out). I wound up repainting those doors and trim myself, but did have one of the other painting companies out to repaint our front door the same Extra White color. For the record, their paint job came out as white as expected, with none of the discoloration of Alvarez Painting's handiwork.

To say "above and beyond" does not really cover it. We were considering other flooring companies -- including the original installers -- and I am beyond thrilled that we went with Nick and Cavalier Flooring. Nick was incredibly responsive -- even taking the time to respond to a multitude of texts at 10pm -- so patient through all of my hemming and hawing, and truly guided me through the process from start to finish. Not only that, but he offered a solution that could potentially end up saving us money. Who does that? His installation team was superb, and I felt extremely comfortable having them in my house, knowing that they knew what they were doing, but that they would take care of everything as well. (In fact, we were alerted about a strange person milling about the property within a matter of minutes of the incident.) I can say with absolute certainty that we would not have ended up with the floors that we have now and they. are. BEAUTIFUL. We get major compliments from all who see it. We absolutely love the way they look and the attention to detail that went into the installation. Oh...and they finished a week ahead of schedule. Around holidays. During Covid. Bravo, Cavalier Flooring!
