  We were very satistifed with all the service that we received from Precision. Chris provided us with an -easy-to-understand assessment of our AC system and the need for replacement (we had a separate inspection by another company to confirm the issue and the need for replacement). Chris was on-time, called ahead as promised, and provided a professional assessment and informative explanation of why we could not repair the system (leaking coil and out-dated coolant) and needed to replace our system. He was able to answer all of our questions about our system and provided information about the Carrier line that Precision installs. We meet with Corey to go over options and AC systems. Corey suggested that we focus on replacing the AC since our existing ductowrk and insulation was in good working order. He provided informaiton on a number of different options including pros and cons for each system. He provided a clearly written estimate that showed the installation costs, additional repair costs, and rebates and had a clearly stated total cost for each system. We consulted Corey for the final decision between the two systems we were considering and were satisfied with his explanation about the difference. We felt that the information Corey provided allowed us to make an informed decision. James and Joey were the installation crew for our new AC system. They were on-time and very proffessional. They spent a full day at our house removing the old system, installing the new system, and sealing the ductwork. They were curteous and very easy to talk to and work with. After the installation was complete, they walked up through using our new thermostat and showed up the new equipment. They cleaned up all the materials and trash, leaving the attic slightly cleaner and improving the flow of the ductowrk. We did have a small mishap when one of the installers stepped through the ceiling (from our previous home remodeling experience, this is common enough). We had a prompt conversation with James and his supervisor James about the process for repairing the hole. James and Joey plugged the hole and cleaned up the mess prior to leaving. We are currently working with Precision to complete the repair - they have been responsive and prompt in making those arrangementsshow more

  The service call resulted in what we expected after several yrs of a failing HVAC system. We needed a new one for our 14 yr old house. Salesman was very patient and spent a good hour answering our questions and came back with three separate quotes when we were confused by all the alternatives. Spent lots of time again explaining all the alternatives with a final recommendation that fit our needs. Crew arrived on time and worked hard and steady on a very hot day to complete the installation. They were competent, polite, and as quiet as one could expect given the job. After installation spent a good deal of time explaining how to set and change the system both upstairs and down. After they left we noticed the upstairs unit was quite loud when running so I called them about it. They sent a technician out and he said the original vent space in the hall was close to the unit up in the attic and they would add another return vent in the office off the hall to mitigate the noise at no cost. They did and it helped some but didn't completely solve the issue. The tech said it 'substantially' reduced the noise level but given the old original unit made no audible whistle or noise at all for all the yrs we've been here I wasn't all that thrilled with the solution given the money spent and the supposed excellence of the Carrier product. But there isn't much we can do about it and it is liveable even if not perfect. The efficiency of the unit is much much better than the old system. Although July and August were definitely cooler this year our two month savings vis a vis last year was between $100-$150 each month vs LY. So it will pay for itself in about 12 yrs! :) If it wasn't for the low level noise upstairs (and we're not up there all that often) Precision would get an A+ from usshow more

  These guys are amazing. Short version: Joe Strazza (owner) and his of installers (James, Joseph, Joey & Nathanael) and his technician (Saul) did an amazing job replacing my old moldy and poorly designed upstairs AC system. They upgraded it from a substandard design that could only continue to support a happy environment for mold into something that should not have any mold issues. Not only did they follow all the guidelines the EPA recommends for preventing mold growth in homes, Joe recommended the same practices my research had suggested. His entire team is meticulous and considerate and did a great job. Long version: Mold had festered in my system, probably since it was poorly installed in 1989. The air was poorly distributed throughout the home. We moved in 3 years ago, I had 2 companies come service the system and asked if everything looked okay with it. By the summer of 2013, it was clear to me I had a mold issue. I bought a yearly service deal from Angie's List and had another company come service it, and point blank asked the technician if the moldy stuff I saw in the air registers was mold. He said 'no' only mildew. WRONG. After identifying the mold issue I had multiple companies come to offer their advice. Some said it wasn't a problem, others recognized the problem but didn't seem inclined to offer comprehensive solutions. Joe Strazza was the ONLY one who offered a comprehensive solution, and actually checked back with me as I contemplated our path forward. Not only did he offer a solution, but it met EPA recommendations for how to address and prevent mold, and he worked with me to address my few design concerns. He recognized the source of my mold issue was an incorrectly designed supply plenum and a poorly designed distribution system that did not properly circulate air through the home, and that the original system did not properly remove humidity. Together all these issues created the perfect environment for mold. He addressed them all. Overall I greatly enjoyed working with him and his team. The install crew was great. I highly recommend this company and wish I had gotten this review submitted months ago so no one missed my praisesshow more

  Saul Cornejo is was just fantastic! He was punctual and one of the nicest servicemen we've ever had. He knew all about our unit and he told us all about it and was extremely thorough in checking and tuning up everything. He even went around and checked the temperature in every room. He went above and beyond what was expected and provided exemplary service. He checked the entire house and eliminated several inefficiencies including six filters, so that we would save money. He spent a lot of time in our home and didn't seem rushed at all. His appearance, demeanor and manner were all the most professional we could ask for! He left us with a spectacular impression and we will stay with Precision as long as absolutely possibleshow more

  I wanted to have our HVAC system tested in our new home. The tech was very helpful and took the time to explain the process to me. He took the time to climb up into my attic, which is a challenge in this odd house and explained to me that we have a media filter and how that works. I had no idea. I had some questions about insulation and rerouting ductwork and they were able to send out an estimator the next day to assess my home. Very professional throughout and we will definitely use them for the additional insulation and ductwork. Looks like I have found my HVAC company for the new houseshow more
