Yes. Even though laundry detergent gets stains out of your clothing, if it spills on your carpet, detergent leaves a stain. These spills can be particularly annoying if your laundry detergent is bright blue, leaving a vibrant spot on the carpet. You can speed up the process by opening windows, using blower fans to create airflow, and running a dehumidifier.
