The lady told me I would be first on the schedule for the day. The day before my appointment a reminder call was made to me which I thought was very nice. Again, I was told your appt is first. The next morning while waiting for repairman I received a call, fifteen minutes, before my scheduled time to inform me that there was an emergency meeting that the service men had to attend. After me questioning this I asked a new approximate arrival time but was not given one but that I would be called. After waiting 3 hours they showed up. Repairmen did try to fix my problem and they worked very well but my problem was not fixed. The repair men only go where they are sent and this was not a fault of them. I fully did not believe a meeting took this long however, I do think a bigger customer was put in front of me. Wish they had not kept telling me I was first appt when clearly it was not the case because they had been to several jobs before me. Whatever happened to the integrity of companies? Anytime I have needed to get in contact of them about something I have been able to. We live about 45 minutes away from them and they are going to do the work without charging a surcharge. When I wanted to start the work, I selected one particular project with the price that I was quoted. I called to schedule the project and was told how much I needed for the deposit and was put on their schedule. A few minutes later, I received a call and was told that if I wanted to do that individual project, it would be an additional $1000. They indicated it was a \"package deal\". I indicated that I requested everything be priced individually so I could do the work in phases. They stated that they couldn't do the work for the amount they quoted and it would be an additional cost if I wanted to do the projects individually. I was upfront with them from the beginning and told them I was planning on doing the projects one at a time and that is why I wanted everything broken out. I don't understand how you can provide a quote and then change the prices. This is not the way to run a business. I did not use this company."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/va/sterling/holloway-company-inc-reviews-404249.htm"},"position":5}]}
Concrete Patio Work reviews from real Angi homeowners in Boomer, WV
They did a beautiful job and were very nice. My only complaint is that it took months longer than expected. Some things we had to wait for on my end, but there were some weeks that no work was done at all. The company was happy to talk to me and address my concerns though. It was a decent...

"They will change the contract, promise a refund and never send it. They also will not respond to inquiries. Promised call backs that never happen. Promised call from manager, never received. We had the work done in May and they are still keeping my money as of August. If they change the work order do not pay the full amount unless you get a new contract. I made the mistake of trusting them."

FAQs for concrete patio work projects in Boomer, WV
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of mudjacking is around $5per square foot of concrete, with most concrete leveling jobs totaling between $3 and $8per square foot. The typical cost to fix a sinking portion of concrete slab with mudjacking is around $1,100. The price you’ll pay depends on the size of the concrete slab you need to be leveled, the accessibility of the slab, and the type of material your contractor uses beneath the concrete to lift it back into place.
A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.
Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.
In most cases, no, mudjacking is not possible as a DIY job. Not only do you need specialized equipment to cut into your slab and pump the cementitious material underneath it, but it’s also a challenging process, and the consequences of making mistakes include additional structural damage to your home. It’s possible to rent mudjacking equipment to attempt a DIY repair, but the risk of added property damage usually isn’t worth the money you’ll save on labor, especially if the concrete you’re lifting is a part of your home’s foundation.
The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
