The experience was awesome. The electrician arrived promptly at 7:00 am. He was very professional and took time to explain what he was doing as he did it. He removed/disposed the old ceiling fan. I would definitely recommend them for any future electrical needs.

We needed to replace ballasts and repair light fixtures at a commercial building we own. Brent came out right away to assess the needs and set up an appointment to do the work. The electrician arrived promptly and replaced the ballasts and replaced a burned out bulb in an outdoor automatic light. He checked out the other lights for any needed repairs. One light fixture needed a ballast that is no longer made. After figuring out the replacement wasn't available, Brent ordered a new fixture with ballast included. They replaced the light fixture that day. They were pleasant to work with, prompt and did all work quickly and competently. We were very pleased with them and will hire them to do work in our home next.

When I bought the Angie's List Big Deal, The Electrician Inc was very quick to respond and set up an appointment. Brent came over and put together an estimate regarding my bathroom light fixture and dining room light. Since it was more work then he could do at that time, I made another appointment for them to come out and complete the work. I was very impressed with Brent's professionalism and wish he had been the one to do the actual work. The electrician that showed up to do the work didn't take off his boots and left wet, salty tracks all over our hardwood floors. We weren't there when he did the work, but when we got home we saw that he repaired a crystal chandelier and put it back together incorrectly. I called Brent and he had the electrician come back and put it together correctly, but again he didn't take off his boots again, although in fairness I didn't mention this to Brent when I spoke with him. When I received the bill, there was an incorrect charge for the installation--I contacted Brent again and he quickly sent a corrected bill. I don't have any problem with the workmanship, but it ended up being a fair amount of calling and arranging for something that wasn't that a major job. I was very impressed with Brent, but the felt that the person who came to do the actual work lacked some of his professionalism. I'm very on the fence about how to rate them because the quality of the work and the price were great and I did like all my interactions with Brent and the office staff. But, I wasn't that impressed with the actual electrician who did the actual job. Maybe if I had been home to monitor the work, it would have been better, but we were having other work done on the house and I felt ok about having them come when I wasn't home due to my interactions with Brent.

The Electrician arrived on time and was very polite and professional. We had a number of small electrical issues to handle. He got all resolved in a lillte more than an hour.

This is a great company. Courteous, on time, quick, thorough ... I could go on. Explained what he was were doing and why. We finally found an electrician! Oh, and the dog liked him.

He did exactly what I asked for, but I wasn't exactly sure what I was asking for. He apologized for the miscommunication, but he did exactly what I asked for. He bent over backwards to try to take some of the blame, but I wouldn't let him because I asked for something I actually didn't want; it was my mistake. There was no mess or fuss. He did a fabulous job, and this is a fabulous company. I will most certainly use them again in the future.

Brent came out to give us an estimate and helped us think through what we needed/wanted for service in the garage. He came back on the appointed day with all the right equipment, fittings, etc. He cheerfully finished the job in good time despite working in a steady drizzle and having to straddle the open trench and a pile of excavated soil next to the house.

We called, they showed up, immediately diagnosed the problem, fixed it quickly and in such a way that we have not had any future issues.

Very great job start to finish. It was an easy one for them, but a great job nonetheless.

The electrician, Bo, was excellent. He arrived on time, was very pleasant, courteous and informative. We looked over the areas I needed power and he provided great recommendations that resulted in a job very well done at a reasonable price.

The electrician, Bo was very professional and knowledgeable. He arrived on time both days and checked in with me if he had any questions about the direction I wanted to go for the project (for instance if something was more involved than expected). I have no complaints about the work that was done, Bo did an excellent job and I would use his services again for any future projects.

The technician arrived on time and took two hours to complete the job. He was very thorough and cleaned-up after he was done. He had to cut a hole into the wall to see where the damage had occurred and placed a new outlet in the hole rather than just a blank plate. The technician was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was only disappointed with this company when I received the bill. They had only subtracted the $69 that I had paid upfront as their advertised deal from the entire bill ($69 for $114-or 1 hours-worth of work including trip charge).. I feel that I did not receive the advertised savings.

Great service! Very prompt response to my call. The electrician who came to the house was friendly, professional and efficient. I received the bill by email. I had a couple of questions on it, and they were very responsive to that as well. I highly recommend this company.

The fellow who owns the company--sorry, can't remember his name--contacted me promptly and set up a time to check the electrical "hot spots" in my home. He came on time, was very professional and pleasant, and showed me what he was doing. I was impressed. Sadly, he never sent the report he promised. I contacted him once and he apologized, but I never did receive the report. I may have the date of service wrong, but I do know it has been months, not weeks since he was here. I am sorry to write a negative review.

Entire experience was top rate. They contacted me to set up an appointment after I purchased the Big Deal. Bo was prompt, very courteous and knowledgeable. He fixed my issue, inspected our electrical panel and showed me what should be done on it in terms of periodic maintenance. We will definitely call The Electrician Inc again when we're in need of any electrical work.

. As noted above, the scheduling of the service call was easy, he was punctual and performed all of the work in under an hour. It was an excellent first experience with this electrician. I would not hesitate to use them again.

A compllete review was performed and a summary of the assessment was made along with recommendations for code improvements were made. A very good job was done, however, the summary report took very long to be received (work done [7/3] and report received [9/4].

After a tiring move to a beautiful older home, we were desperate to to laundry. We had not hooked up the dryer yet and when I went downstairs to hook up the dryer, I was shocked to find that my dryer would not plug in to the existing 3 prong outlet. I found the Electrician Inc. on Angie's List and promptly called them. They were professional and were able to make their schedule work where they could come out the next day. The electrician was Bo. He was friendly and efficient and had my new outlet installed within an hour.

I took advantage of an Angie's List "Big Deal"; which was $99 for 1 hour of electrical work (which included the trip charge). The deal was through The Electrician out of Mt. Horeb. I actually sent them an e-mail before I bought the Big Deal and asked them a couple of questions, related to the work I wanted done, and how much the Big Deal coupon would cover and that kind of thing. Brent from The Electrician was very quick to respond to my questions and answered them well enough to where I had a good idea of what would and would not be covered by the Angie's List Big Deal. I bought the big deal and set up an appointment with The Electrician that day. Again, they were very quick to respond, gave me several days/times to choose from, to have the work done. Diane, their administrator/secretary, was very easy to work with and responded right away to my e-mails. She responed to my e-mails literally minutes, not hours, or days, like some places I have worked with in the past. On the day of the service call Bo, the electrician assigned to do the service, called about 15-20 minutes before the 8:00 am appointment, to verify someone would be at my home, and to let me know, because of traffic, he would be a few minutes late. I was running a few minutes late myself, so it worked out good, and I appreciated the fact that Bo took the time to call and let me know he would be a few minutes late. Bo showed up when he said he would, introduced himself, and came in to my home. He asked me what the problem was, what the symptoms were, and when the issue was happening. I told him that I had a GFCI outlet that kept tripping for no particular reason; and the only pattern seemed to be when it got really cold out, the outlet would trip, and I could not reset it until it warmed up again. Bo, checked out the GFCI outlet, went through all the outlets on that circuit, and checked out the main breaker box. He tightened up all the wires that were a little loose, or not quite right, trimmed all the wires so they had better connections, and made sure all the neutrals were connected properly. He was very particular and meticulous about everything and even replaced an outlet cover that didn't fit quite right...for free...even though it had nothing to do with the job he was doing. Once he was finished up with the GFCI trouble-shooting and fixes, I asked how much it would be to put in a new outlet and to move a couple coaxial cables. He gave me an estimate, said he could do the work right then and there if I wanted (save another trip charge and such), I told him that would work for me, and the started right away. Bo did the job in a timely manner, explained exactly what he needed to do/how he would do it (and didn't talk down to me as some trade "professionals" have a tendency to do), did exactly what I wanted him to do, did a really nice job, and cleaned up after himself. Long story short, I was VERY happy with the job Bo did. Finally, after I got the bill from The Electrician, I had a question on one of the charges. Brent reviewed the bill and made the appropriate correction right away...no questions asked. Working with Brent at The Electrician was a breeze, BO did a great job, Diane was great to work with, the charges for the work was reasonable and, long story short, I really couldn't be more satisifed with an electrical service. I would not hesitate to recommend The Electrician to my friends, neighbors, or anyone looking to have electrical work done on their home. Top notch service!

I have an attic fan that didn't work at all during the summer of 2011, so I assumed that the fan itself needed to be replaced. The guy from The Electrician came and spent some time working on the fan. He fixed whatever the problem was and likely saved me at least $100-$200. Since he was here, the fan has worked flawlessly. Excellent work, done professionally.

They were prompt and tidy and and we were pleased with the job.
