They responded to my request quickly and were very understanding, despite my screw up. Explained what they were going to do and what it was going to cost.

Excellent! We bought the coupon from Angie's list but I was afraid that they'd be too busy to service us. We were on a time limit. Brent worked hard to fit us in before our attic work was done. They arrived when expected and the project proved far bigger than we expected (requiring the new circuit). They found the wiring on the previous fan was not up to code and that's why this new fan kept blowing circuits. We had thought about doing some additional work (replacing odd sized canister lights) that Brent was willing to price out for us. He had to spend a lot of time getting costs for us for an estimate (not many options for these lights). I finally asked him if it'd be worth it as we were only replacing them to make it more energy efficient. He was honest with me and said he'd be happy to do the work but it would cost far more for the work to be done than the gain we'd see in energy efficiency. I liked his honesty as he lost part of the job because of that.

Things went fine - mission accomplished!

It was good. The wiring was tricky but he was able to do it. One electrician came out. He was very professional and asked if there was anything else he could do.

I ordered a deal for 1 hour + service call. The electrician was prompt, friendly, and very professional. The light in our spare bedroom had been buzzing since we bought the house in May, so we had been using a lamp instead. He checked it out, and said it was a very cheap fixture, designed to last only a year or two. He said he could fix the socket for $60-70, but recommended that we just replace the fixture itself with a higher quality model, as that would still be cheaper than repairing it. I appreciated his advice and chose to replace it at a later date. He told me my outdoor light fixture looked fine and that I had probably just tested it with bad bulbs (turned out to be true). He replaced a faulty GFCI outlet on my porch as well. All of this took maybe 20 minutes. I had nothing left on my list, so I told him thanks and he went on his way. As someone who knows very little about electrical services, I appreciated his honest advice and expertise.

I had worked with The Electrician before when they provided a 200 amp upgrade they did the year before; they did an excellent job. I sought them again and they gave me a bid on an extensive remodeling job As before, all technical work went very well and they did a quality job. Our town building inspector had no issues with their work. Negatives were few: I found it difficult at times to get timely responses to billing questions, although I acknowledge it was a busy work time for them. All issues were eventually worked out and Brent, the owner, proved quite responsive in answering questions even after all bills were paid and he graciously adjusted some billing downward after he reviewed my inquiries. I found it difficult to get clear guidance on the use of LED vs traditional lighting but, in part, I think this reflected a respectful attitude, wanting to leave arbitrary decisions to me. I ordered some switches directly through Madison Lighting and the Electricians had no issues with installing them. I will say, we did not anticipate all aspects of the electrical remodel work and I suspect a general contractor would have made their work go more smoothly.

It went real well the technician was on time and was very helpful and very professional at all aspect of the job.

I could not be more happy with the professionalism and quality of work. Brent, the owner, is fantastic and took the time to go over the complete project and came up with a detailed estimate. The final costs were a little below estimate. There were absolutely no surprises. The actual work took three whole days of continuous work. Brian was in charge of the actual job and he was superb. All appointments were kept and job was done right on time. Even Diane the office manager was great. Brent and Diane and Brian were very flexible and understanding when I had to reschedule one time because of scheduling conflicts with another contractor. Overall, I was extremely happy. Wish all contractors were like this company. Brent would have a great career teaching business ethics and project management. Not only would I hire this company again, I will not even bother to hire anyone else. The quality of work is excellent. As you can tell, I can go on and on. And not I am not related to Brent or have no conflict of interest :)

The service was prompt, friendly and the electrician provided great advice about lighting options for our home. He also grounded all outlets and installed chidl-proof safety covers. I would definitely use their services again!

We did the "big deal" special. They were very prompt, replied right away, came on time and their work was great. We will use them in the future any time we need electrical work. They really know what they are doing and made sure our input was used for what we wanted in the work.

The electricians (Beau and Cole) were wonderful--efficient, pleasant, and they inspired confidence. I can' t speak highly enough about the service that The Electrician provided -- I will definitely use them again and I encourage anyone to consult with them for their electrical needs. They were the best contractors that I have ever worked with.

I had taken the day off work as they did not start a job after i think it was 2:00. As it turned out they had forgot to schedule me for service that day. After they had not shown up for the job, i called and they sent an electrician over about 21/2 hrs later. I would not had to have taken the day off work after all. However, once the electrician had shown up, he did an excellent job. He did exactly what was needed. He brought a couple of switch options with him to choose from, he was efficient with his time. he was very proffessional and cleaned his work area. i would not hesitate to use this company again.

Everything went very well. He was right on time and even though my job didn't take a full hour, he asked if there were other jobs or questions. I did have him fix heating cable on my roof that had come loose. He was very cordial and helpful. I would not hesitate to call this company in the future.

He put in 2 ceiling lights and a ceiling fan. He was prompt, professional, did not leave a mess. I was happy with the results. He explained why he was doing things a certain way, and took everything in stride.

all questions were answered completely, and took 75 minutes to complete. the surge suppressor sacrifices itself before it can get to other circuits in the breaker panel. It was also on sale from Home Depot. very comforting to know that all appliances are protected in my home not just those with power strips.
