"Very happy with the pressure washing that Super Wash Bros provided for me. On time, very detailed work, and looks spectacular. They were very cautions, took good care of all my landscaping while working, and were thorough with the clean-up process. My house has never looked better!"

"Great! Job was completed not only on-time but also early which worked out to be perfect timing, not only was Jason on time to the job,he was right on schedule. He is professional, he is a perfectionist when it comes to any job or task, not just painting, we even had him do some other jobs that were not part of the original interior painting job. He also hung sheetrock, taped, mudded, sanded and then painted my unfinished bathroom, he is very knowledgeable about the jobs that he is doing, very friendly, his timing was perfect because 1 job that turned into quite a few jobs including a complete remodel of bathroom. Entire interior painted, and then other jobs as requested, including entire remodel of unfinished bathroom the completion of job was perfect timing as we were getting ready for our son's graduation open house. Thank you Jason for doing such a beautiful job with bathroom, And all of the interior painting as well."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.
