"Working with Croix River Construction was a positive experience on all fronts. Paul and his team are good at what they do, professional, and very nice! They tore down our stand-alone, falling-apart garage and built a bigger, better garage in its place. Paul made sure the new garage would match our home perfectly, and provided quality materials and workmanship. It was a big project and Croix River were easy to work with, reliable, flexible, and fairly priced. In addition to the new garage, they installed a new concrete driveway, created a slope for it, and added fill to elevate the garage-floor height (which some companies weren't able or willing to do). They also graded around the house and redid some of our concrete sidewalks. It's two years later and the concrete work is holding up well. All of it is. Highly recommended, and nice people."

"They were very helpful on advising on specifications. In general, I found roofers specifying roof replacement the cheapest way possible rather than what is most cost effective long-term. Once, I got multiple contractors matching on specs, GF was clearly cost competitive, particularly given no subcontractor usage. Actual install was smooth except for two things. It took more time than they budgeted for, but they handled that well and didn't try to ask for extra payment. Second, they discovered that the backing of the house's original aluminum siding was rotten when they were installing new flashing. Understandably, they didn't want to put it back up as is (which I can appreciate). Thankfully, they were able to provide a cost effective answer regarding new siding, as I didn't want to have to big that out with everything already torn up."

"He had a cancellation and was able to come out the day I called. He verified that we actually didn't have mold growing in the one area. Since that area was connected to an indoor hot tub room, he checked the tub room just to verify that all was ok in there. He gave me some tips on preventing mold in that tub room and informed me about some other areas to watch (as this was in the basement and we have had water get inside with heavy rain) and I asked him about some marks on my basement ceiling. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely be calling if need for future services."

Decks/patio are the go to job but we also do windows, doors, siding, insulation, I also do a lot of other stuff, just call, text, or email and set up a time and I'll come check it out when I have the opportunity. "This service was exactly what I was looking for.  I wasn't confident about choosing the new look for my living room.  I wasn't sure what my "style" was, and what would look good together.  I needed a consultant to let me know if the items I was considering would look good together.  Amanda called me and we talked about what I liked/didnt like.  She had me post pictures from Pinterest and Houzz of rooms I liked.  From that she was able to tell me what my style was.  She noticed things I never realized before.  For example I apparently picked the exact style couch in every picture I posted.  As I found furniture I liked I would send her photos and she would let me know if she thought they would go good together.  For example she recomended a different coffee table - i needed one that was more substantial to balance the size of the sofa.  She also helped me fine-tune the paint colors for my walls - I thought this was the hardest part of designing the room, but I love the results. 
I was basically looking for someone to guide my choices, but they will also modify their level of service depending on what you need (cost varies depending on service needed).
I would positively use them again!!
