"I reached out to Clog Pro LLC because we had trouble with our tub draining. Within minutes David called me and discussed what he would do and quoted me a price. David was able to come out to our house the same day which was just fantastic. He arrived early which he did call to make sure it worked for us. David snaked the drain and clean everything up and he was in and out in less than 20 minutes. We are so pleased to have found him and most definitely will be using him for future projects. We highly recommend Clog Pro LLC and letting our friends and family know who to call for projects and services."

Customers say: True professional

"John was on time and had me show him the work I requested to be done. He looked at both leaking drains and recommended the best possible solution for me knowing that I was in the process of selling my home. He talked me through all the work he needed to do for my best value and to give me his best service. The work was done incredibly well and in a reasonable time frame! I strongly recommend his expertise and would/will hire again if my newer home needs any plumbing services!"

"Duct cleaning: Alex called to say he was on his way and gave an expected arrival time. He was friendly and courteous. Alex answered all my questions and showed me before & after pictures during the cleaning. One minor issue; I found metal chips from the duct hole drilling on my concrete floor. I easily swept these up. I believe Alex would have done this if he had seen the chips before he left. I would have more concerned if I had a carpeted floor. I would hire Alex again."

"We had a clogged sewer main and needed fast service. They called within minutes of our request and managed to fit us in the next day. They showed up on time and promptly got to work. They put a tarp down on our floor to keep things clean. We needed a waterjet machine to cut thru tree roots in our main drain and they showed us on a camera exactly what was going on. Their price was reasonable and we're very happy with the results, We would highly recommend this company!"

"Steve worked with me to assess and remedy root-cause of a recurring error code and lack of draining on a Bosch dishwasher. A few minutes on the phone allowed us to isolate a simople repair... Steve was happy to suggest a potentially simple fix over the phone versus rolling a truck and creating expense to me for the sake of easy income for him. Appreciated, and I definitely recommend!"

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The cost to unclog a drain varies based on the location and severity of the clog. For simple clogs within your home, such as in a sink, toilet, or shower, hiring a plumber typically costs between $110 and $350, with an average of around $200. Snaking a toilet or sink usually costs between $110 and $275, while a bathtub or shower clog costs about $225.

For a more serious clog in the main sewer line, the cost is higher. Clearing a main line clog generally costs between $200 and $600, with an average of about $380. However, prices can range from as low as $100 for snaking a minor clog to over $1,600, particularly if advanced methods like video inspection and hydrojetting are needed for a large or hard-to-reach blockage. Some severe main line clogs can cost upwards of $1,000 to clear depending on factors like the cause of the clog, its distance from an accessible cleanout, and whether the pipe is located beneath an occupied space (e.g., in an apartment building). You may be able to save money on minor clogs by using a drain snake or bladder yourself.

A saturated leach field can result from various underlying issues, so it's best to call a professional septic company to diagnose and treat the problem. Depending on the cause of the saturation, potential fixes include pumping out a full septic tank, adding more bacteria to the tank, or regrading the soil to fix low spots. It may also be necessary to reroute rainwater and runoff away from the leach field using gutters, downspouts, and extenders. Once the primary issue is resolved, planting specific types of vegetation over the area can help absorb excess water. In more severe cases, you might need to install a larger septic tank or replace the leach field entirely.

Ever wonder what might cause your outdoor spigot to lose water flow? It's not as complicated as one might think. Something as simple as a clogged or leaky pipe could be the culprit. Some other causes are corrosion of the pipes or lack of water pressure coming from your street.

Yes, pop-up drains commonly get clogged with hair, soap scum, and toothpaste. It is important to know how to properly clean the drain or get professional help to ensure it remains clear and can drain water effectively.

The first rule of plumbing is nothing but water, toilet paper, number one, and number two go down the drain.

To prevent clogs, get yourself:

  • A compast pail where you can clean plates, drain grease, and toss scraps and paper towels.

  • Drain screens for the shower, tub, and bathroom sink to stop hair, jewelry, toys, etc. from going down the drain.

  • Trash cans for everything that shouldn’t go down the drain, like dental floss, hygiene products, and cat litter.

P.S.: If you do drop your priceless ring down the drain, take a deep breath, and then follow these steps to retrieve jewelry from your drain.
