Description of Work: Installed fixtures and dimmer, advised on other lighting issues. Don't know if I could have gotten a better price, but sure couldn't have had a better all around experience in terms of professionalism - so am happy with the entire result.

Description of Work: A complicated service to install electrical service to a microwave, which had been installed wrongly originally. It was supposed to have dedicated service, but this was not feasible as this is an old house. Therefore very cleverly a wire was 'highjacked' from an outlet in the kitchen that is never used, and the microwave essentially now has a 'dedicated' wire. It works perfectly. We are very happy with this change, as our lights no longer dim, and the microwave no longer goes out. I especially liked the creative solution to this difficult problem.

Description of Work: I needed a simple electrical job done, but in my gut I anticipated problems because my condo had weird wiring turn up from the kitchen to the bathroom. Ten years of intervention had not resolved the nightmare that I was pretty sure lurked behind the walls but dared not pull apart. Kent, bless his heart, with patience and skillful sleuthing, gave me the lowdown and listed my options. I really dreaded facing the problems but feared the ongoing denial more. He turned spagetti and meatballs into a safe, understandable connection of wires to outlets and appliances. Yes, even the range was an appalling ball of hi voltage mismash. He had to take the wall out to reveal the true level of mayhem. I am grateful. It took him 2 days of steady work without a lunch break to finish the job correctly. His commitment to excellence I have never seen before. His concise, clear explanations were easy to follow. I never doubted his integrity or skill or the quality of his work. I feel completely satisfied and relieved to have this work completed when others before him just couldn't tackle it for whatever reasons. Kent simply wasn't afraid to meet the problem head on once I gave him the go ahead. He knew it would be in my best interest and it was. It won't do much for the resale value of my unit, but my conscience is clear and my sleep at night is easier.
