project went well, electrician had a helper with him. At one point electrician went out for parts and was gone a lengthy period of time (roughtly 1-1.5 hours). so there was some downtime. Drywaller (Steve Brendel 360-750-0060) was excellent and cleaned up after each job I had him do. Job was bid as the entire project so we were not paying by the hour.

They did everything to my satisfaction. He kept his word. I would definitely call them again!

I purchased 2 hours of electrical work. When I called to schedule, they couldn't do the work for a month. That was not acceptable, I needed it done sooner. Had I known that I would not have purchased the "DEAL" from Angie. There should have been a message on the ad to call to schedule before purchasing. The whole ordeal was a bit frustrating. I give Angie a 'C' for her part in this.

Matt and his apprentice arrived on time and stayed until the job was done. All was done to satisfaction including an additional add on. My faith in electricians has been restored. :-)

Compass Electric did an excellent job. They were polite, very punctual, clean, and courteous. They did the work as expected without any hitches and in a timely manner.

Very professional, polite, prompt. Told my mom that the work would cost $600. He checked a light fixture and then said that he could install a new one if she bought it (i.e., that was not an electrical problem). He also warned that once he did the work an inspector would come out and the inspector might find other problems that would require more work. We felt very informed after he left.

This company provided extremely courteous, prompt, reliable service and they did an outstanding job. They treated my home with such great respect and they went way beyond the call of duty. My elderly dog took a bad turn for the worse the day before they arrived and I almost cancelled; however, since I needed the work done so that I could have heat I went ahead with the job. I'm sure this was every contractor's worst nightmare - my dog was having mobility issues so I was unable to take her from the home as I had originally planned. We were in their way most of the day. By afternoon the sound of the drills was causing her to have increased seizures and so I had to ask them to stop for awhile. Angie, if they felt irritation at this request they hid it well. I finally got her in the car and away for awhile, but on our return she had fallen asleep and I could not get her out of the car and into the house. By this point I was in tears. One of the workmen noticed from the window and came running out and actually carried her into the house (80 lbs.) At this point words fail me and tears come to my eyes. These men weren't just another company. They were fellow human beings who went far out of their way to help me during a very unhappy time. Perhaps they won't appreciate me telling all these details because this was not part of the original contract, and I'm sure they probably never wish to have another job like this one. But this is a company you can trust with your home. In closing, let me also reiterate how very happy I have been with the electrical work they performed. It far exceeded my expectations and the price was fantastic. Katharine Carmichel

Matt & Austin did a great job with helping us out with our new bathroom remodel as well as some smaller issues around the house. They arrived on time and were very professional - they worked quickly and did a great job at measuring the appropriate height of the vanity light & switches for when we install the base cabinet/etc. This job was done in 2 separate visits - 1) rough-in electrical before we did drywall and paint, then 2) install trim details and light fixtures after drywall and paint were completed in the bathroom. We wanted to make sure the new bathroom was approved by the city/state so we went thru the permit process. This can be a bit of a pain as you have to wait a few days for an inspector to come to the house. Matt was very much available for any questions I may have or helping finding out when these inspectors might be coming to the house. I really appreciated his help and knowledge of the process so not to get too stressed out about missing the inspection. We had a bummed out exterior light that Matt suggested we get a replacement part for and they would fix the fixture on their 2nd visit. This ended up being a huge cost savings - only $5 for a replacement part vs having to buy a brand new light fixture. He even recommended a store that sells these parts that we had no trouble with. Thanks again for all your hard work Matt & Austin! We'll definitely be in touch again in the future

It was 4th of July weekend. I e-mailed Matt on Sunday, and received a call back only a few hours later. He offered to squeeze me in on Monday. He was more than prompt, he was early (called first to make sure it was OK). Very thorough, professional, cordial, the job was done quickly.

Arrived on time and discussed all the work. Very professional. Was able to resolve most issues - one of the lights required a new transformer. After Matt completed the work, I went to buy the transformer. Matt's brother was in the neighborhood so he swung by later in the evening to complete the installation. I was very happy with the service.

Excellent service from initial phone call to completion. On time arrival with clear explanation of work to be done and cost involved. Floor outlet job required comprehensive knowledge of how to best install and wire in difficult location. Neat work and clean up after finished. Will definitely use again for any electrical requirement.

When we called, we were able to talk to Matt immediately. He provided an estimate over the phone and made an appointment with us. He is very busy, and was making appointments about 2 weeks out. This was no problem since nothing was of an urgent nature. Matt arrived on time, was very friendly and knowlegdeable, and completed all of the work which we needed. He even made an extra trip to get additional parts at no added cost.

Matt and Austin arrived on time. I was quoted a price for the installation without them actually evaluating the location for the install. The access was more complicated than they expected however, the original quote was honored. They had to cut into an arched wooden ceiling between 2 skylights and the location was perfectly centered. We installed the fan ourselves and everything works perfectly and the end result looks great.

Love these guys! They are so fun to work with. Arrived on time everyday and worked hard. I love that they also picked up after themselves everyday too. Matt listened to the ideas I had for the job and had great suggestions I never would've thought of. I would totally hire again!

It went very well that they did a good job. They talk to you and they're professional. They were competitive.

I was very satisfied with the service call and result. The technician/business-owner (Matt B.) found that part of the terminal block on the range had failed. The plastic bracket for one of wiring studs had melted somewhat and worked loose and the wires & nuts it had held were arcing against the cover panel. He made a temporary repair and advised me to get the terminal-block replaced ASAP as that was a part he didn't have. For the visit and work, he charged me less than a full service-call fee because he felt he hadn?t provided a full solution. I am very impressed by his honesty, professionalism and genuine concern for customers and a fair-deal-for-everyone approach. We used him previously for an issue in December with very similar circumstances. He made a service call on a Saturday night, repaired some minor damage to an appliance cord and a wall socket that had caught fire and calmed all nerves by diagnosing the root-cause and convincing us there was no imminent danger of fire recurring and no fault with the wiring itself. Again he charged a very reasonable fee ($150 for the work plus $100 for Emergency after-hours service).

Matt showed up on time and was gracious enough to remove his shoes prior to coming into the house. I appreciated this. Matt was very polite and did not waste time. He knew exactly what to do to resolve my problem. He had brought along with him two models of timers (one more expensive than the other) and within half an hour he had the new timer installed. He took the time to program it and to set it according to my wishes. On the way out of the house Matt even resolved an additional question/issue I had which was related to my alarm system. Fixed all the issues in about 2 hours, cleaned up a messy job done by a previous electrician who tried (unsuccessfully) to fix these issues. Everything is working great and as i had hoped.

He personally answered my call immediately and was able to schedule me the same day. He called when he left the appointment before mine and arrived on time. He was very professional/knowledgeable and personable. He was able to solve the problem quickly and make the fix. He left the area cleaner than when he arrived. I have marked Compass Electric as a "favorite" and will recommend Matt to my friends. It's so nice to be treated respectfully and have a professional handle the problem.

He arrived on time and got to work right away, and started to work on the rewiring. I had to leave to pick up a part that was needed to finish the job. When I returned, he had the switch rewired. When he went to work on the actual fan/light unit, he didn't check the light first. The light part of the fan unit was broken. He then installed the unit in and it was after that, he realized the unit was broken. He said that he had no more time left to replace that unit so, he left it as is and I ended up replacing the unit myself. I feel that if he had checked the unit ahead of time, he would have found out that it was indeed broken and I could have replaced it with a new unit so, that he would have been the one to install it. He was very polite but, I wasn't that impressed.

Matt and his crew did a great job with the electrical work. We had used them for a previous job and were satisfied with their work. They had to coordinate their work with our other contractors (concrete work, patio cover installers) and were very accommodating. There were delays with some of the work, which was only due to the electrical inspector being backed up/delayed, otherwise they were very prompt and completed the work in a reasonable time frame. Will definitely use Compass Electric for future electrical needs.
