The installation went well. The roof looks great and they cleaned up well after the installation was complete.

All the folks I dealt with at Valentine Roofing were great, from Kes, who did the estimating, to Eddie, the project manager, to Emmanuel, the crew leader. They kept me up-to-date on the scheduling, and once they started the work went very quickly. Emmanuel and the crew were very pleasant and hard-working, and they cleaned up well every day. Valentine's price was very fair.

We're doing a home remodel and have dealt with dozens of workers and contractors. Valentine has been the only bad experience so far. The central issues were lack of care for our property and communication issues. They left literally piles of roofing debris in our yards -- from sheets the size of my hand to messes of granules in my grass that I couldn't possibly pick them all up. When we bought our house, I personally replaced all of the questionable dirt with organic dirt and compost because we raise all edibles (apple trees, blueberries, herbs) and have raised veggie beds and chickens. Valentine's crews showed such an astonishing lack of respect for our property. They didn't even put down tarps in some places when tearing off the old roof -- just threw the debris in to our yards. We tried so many times to communicate to them, but my husband doesn't speak Spanish and the people onsite didn't speak English. For example, at the end of the job, they took the drop cloths that I had covered my veggie beds with and shook the debris on top INTO the veggie beds. Six months later and we're still finding parts of shingles from the tear-off around the property. We went around and around with the company. The roof itself is fine, but the process was so miserable, I wish I'd just paid a little more (they were just a few hundred cheaper than the next company) to go with a company more committed to customer service.

Very impressed with the customer service from the office as well as on-site. This company has an efficient business model. Initial contact and follow-ups were timely and informative via phone and email. Once the job was scheduled the workers were on site for two full days. Most impressive was how hard they worked and the clean-up job when they were done. Tearing off an old asphalt roof is very messy. The guys left our property cleaner than when they arrived! They carefully removed an awning and reinstalled it back when finished. Very thoughtful attention to the property. One concern- Although the men wore harnesses I am not sure they all were attached to the ropes at all times. I was impressed the intent to prevent falls was there.

Valentine Roofing was very prompt in getting the roof replaced (maybe too much so - arriving at 8:00 when I was told they would be there before 9:00), and the price was comparable to other roofers in the area. They were great with communication every step of the way. However, in the initial estimate, they didn't find any problems with the plywood, although other companies that gave us estimates did. When it came to actually replacing the roof, they found those problems, adding over $1000 to the total cost. Also, they did not clean up after themselves very well, leaving debris in the garage. An additional problem was that the stove vent fan quit working as a result of the roofing. They repaired it for free, but they had the crew leader do the repair, and scheduling was very difficult to do since he was working around another roofing job he was doing.

Low pressure sales (Kes). Competitive middle-of-the-range price. Crisp communication in all phases by all involved (Sales, Project Manager (Nelson) and Crew Lead(Nicholas)). Professionally done job (installation, daily cleanup, coordination).

We needed our roof shingled (as it was due at 21 years). We requested quotes from 5 companies. The quote from Valentine was comparable—but they offered more, so we chose to go with them. They came in on budget, and at the time they had set. The crews were hard working, courteous and conscientious. Even our neighbors were impressed with their work. Communication was continuous throughout the project and it was completed quickly. They have a very efficient process for keeping the job running smoothly and stress free for the homeowners, and we certainly recommend them.

Excellent. Great team all around. Awesome follow up and quality inspection. An item was missed but taken care of immediately. Clean was good.

Valentine roofing did a great Job installing Christmas on my home, good quality led lights at a good price, they came and installed lights when they said they would, all wires are neat and tight to the walls, my house looks great with the lights all uniform and straight

I was really excited to find out they offered window cleaning. They did such a great job with my roof that it was a no-brainer to hire them again. Their communication is still top notch, they show up on time, and provide superior service. I am thrilled with how clean and sparkling my windows are. I will definitely keep having them out next year.

30% over original bid, damage done to my ceiling when one of their team members stepped through the sheetrock, tried to get away with 2 inch round outlets in the 3X4 downspouts of the new gutters. a lot of back and forth with the project Manager, poor communication from the team about what was needed to be done....Overall very bad experience!

I had 5 estimates for a new roof. I picked Valentine because of their excellent customer service. It started with the estimate itself - they were the only ones to make an in-person appointment with me to go over their estimate and products. Then once the project started, their Customer Service/Project Manager Person, Salvador, called me everyday with an update on what was going on, how far they were in the project and why certain things might be delayed. I’ve had them come over for a minor fix since then, and will have them do a yearly inspection and cleanup of my roof and gutters in the Spring.

Crew was two guys - very personable & professional. Showed pictures of "before" & "after" & saw that they did a great job. Gutters were cleaned to my satisfaction & roof was inspected. Valentine Roofing was recommended to me & I would hire them again in the future.

Great customer service. Clearly defined scope of project and price. My roof looks great. They came while I was gone and left a pamphlet telling me exactly how they serviced my roof and the name of the employee.

Valentine Roofing was great to work with. They came in with a very competitive bid (we got 5 bids) and our sales guy, John, explained everything and our choices. Our project manager was Eddy and he kept in contact throughout the process and gave us updates on milestones and let us know what to expect. We were assigned a crew foreman, Trino, who did a great job with the work itself and the cleanup afterwards. I have to say, the whole experience was easy, the price was fair and the quality is outstanding. I would definitely recommend them.

Rod did a great job cleaning the roof and gutters, as well as the debris that ended up on the ground. He also did a walk-around with me afterwards and explained any issues he ran into. I especially like that the moss control used is not visible (as opposed to the visible white liquid that other companies sometimes use).

The project went well. The roof looks nice and is a great color match with my house roof. The shed previously had a shake roof and was replaced with composite with a new plywood backing. I was a little disappointed that the roofing nails extended beyond the furring strips (perhaps because the furring strips were thin since it is a shed). I also wish I had been advised to cover the contents of my shed with a tarp...I didn't realize how much debris would end up inside the shed (may have been due to poor condition of old roof). Outside cleanup was excellent.

In my 10/9/2017 Valentine Roofing Review I stated that I would update the review after we went through a rainy period. This is the update. NO LEAKS. Really pleased. Especially after the rainy stormy November 2017 we had. Will update should I need any warranty work, albeit I am not expecting any.

The process started great, I asked how long the job would take on our 1900sq ft rambler would take. Answer 2 1/2 to 3 days. They did the job in 1 1/2 days, with numerous damaged shingles from boots and broken corners of shingles, the shingle Pattern didnt match ANY of the photos on the roofing material we picked. When I called the PM..Eddie and explained the damage and sent him photos. Their response was "Damage Happens when installing a roof and it was normal and not a problem". On my insistence they sent a Valentine QC person and I asked that a Certain-Teed rep also come out to inspect the workman ship and other issues.The rep from certain the said the damaged shingles NEED to be replaced then he left. Now its me and the roofing company left, which they tell me they will replace some of the shingles, not all of the damaged ones. At this point they wanted to be paid in full for the job, which I refused. After losing several hours of my own job time, they replace almost all the damaged shingles and we paid them in full. HOWEVER I will NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW FOR ANY ROOF WORK... PERIOD!!! This was an $18,000 roof and I will never feel like I received that in quality or workmanship.

I claimed a deal to clean my roof and they called and said they didn't do the work any more. I lost a week of schedule on my project.

Very well was done on one day ever with the replacement of 12 sheets of plywood.

The project went well. Dumpster was removed promptly upon completion. They performed cleanup daily and they put a tarp over my pondless waterfall. The roof looks great.

Simple, straightforward, and quick install. Project was done within all the timelines quoted. A rep proactively contacted me everyday to update progress and respond to my requests.

Five+Stars!! Valentine just completed our roof. Their process/methods start-to-finish, bid through completion follow-up, was seamless. We had 5 estimates for our roof. Valentine's estimate was in the middle. What set Valentine's bid for us was this company's estimate included all new flashing, baffle vents, ridge vents, chimney flashing, designed starter course which covers the exposed plywood edge above the gutters. The other estimates we received from well advertised prominent companies, (3 bids higher than Valentine's), were to re-use our existing flashings. Valentine's process sales-though completion is firm, consistent with well proofed, predicable methods & results. Our roof was about 32 squares, with 8 solar tubes & steep peaks. Valentine removed our existing 3 tab and 'dryed-in' the roof in one day. A day and one-half later, they were done. Clean-up happened each evening, including daily sweeping of the entire perimeter with wheeled magnets for any nails. Their roofing team, project coordinator, site lead & roofers, were highly experienced journey/tradesmen. We couldn't be more impressed. Hope your replacement will go as well for you as was ours.

Went well. The workers and foreman were professional and good communicators. They started the job earlier than expected, but took longer than scheduled. After the first big rain there was a small leak. They immediately fixed the leak and I've had no problems since.
