We hired Valentine Roofing to replace the roof on our house. They were very professional, honest and prompt from the first phone call to the end of the project. From the office staff to the roofers themselves, they were friendly and caring. We had a leak in the roof so they put us on a waiting list to be called in the event of a cancellation. They also came to put a cover over the roof where the leak was suspected to be. The cancellation meant our roof was taken care of within two weeks. We found the crew to be polite and hard-working. The crew cleaned up every time before they left. Our roof and yard looked beautiful when they left for the last time! They even had a nice gift delivered to us for using their company! You are a very professional and qualified company! We would recommend Valentine Roofing to anyone! Thank you, Valentine Roofing, for our wonderful new roof!

We are very pleased with the results. The Presidential TL shingles are beautiful. I was impressed that the company could obtain for me actual samples of the gutter colors for our painter to match for the trim of the house, and that there was no problem in changing the color from what I had originally selected. The crew was very professional and worked long hours to complete the roof between rain storms. Every day the yard was cleaned, and the morning after the work was complete the dumpster was removed and you would never know any work had been done on my property. We would highly recommend Valentine Roofing. I would also commend the sales and office staff of the company. They all are very professional and very knowledgeable and always willing to answer our questions.

The service was very good. The crew was nice and helpful. Answered all my questions and seemed to be very knowledgable. Did exactly everything that they said they would.

We were very happy with them. The work was excellent. They cleaned up after themselves. They did the work quickly. It was all good. We had called two roofers and they almost didn’t get back to us. These guys were very responsive.

We could not be happier with the results. Not only has the look of the Presidential TL shingles exceeded our expectations, but we believe much of the final product was due to the professionalism of the five man team headed by Eric. This exceptional group of men worked diligently from morning till night, weather permitting. In unison they removed the shingles, tar paper and boards then replaced with new undersiding and heavy underlayment followed by the new shingles themselves. Upon completion the entire crew spent the better part of a day cleaning every bit of scrap that may have fallen during the process. This included raking the lawn, blowing and hosing the driveways, and sweeping the decks, porches, etc. Other than the dynamic look of the new roof and gutters, there was no evidence that workers had ever stepped foot on our property. We should also mention the support teams that worked behind the scenes to ensure we received exactly what we paid for. The shingles and undersiding arrived on a flatbed truck with a state-of-the-art large crane. Using a remote control, the truck driver lifted each bundled then stacked it atop the roof for easy access for the team. Finally, Valentine's office staff (including Sally and Denise) were readily available to answer any of our questions along the way. In looking back to the day we chose this company, our salesman John Anderson promised us that his company would stand by their commitment to us - and it certainly did. This outstanding company is one in which we highly recommend.

After calling and screening several roofing companies we settle on Valentin. The sale guy that came to our house was very professional and explained the process that they use to install the new shingles. Couple of days later he called me and said that the scheduler will call me and let me know when they will come out to schedule the work to be done. The last week of April, they did call me the and said that they would be able to start the work sometime in the last week of May and can be delayed due to weather and work related issues. I called them in the last week of May and asked when are they going to start as we had great weather throughout the month of May. They said it would be another week before they can start because of delays that they have no control over. I asked them a call to me a week or even a couple of weeks prior to my phone call about the delay would have been nice. The gal on the phone said to look at the guild lines that was given to me that states "We will call you 3 days prior to the actual start date". Well that's very vague I said and the gal kept referring to the guide line. So I asked when will I know when the the work will start, she said 3 days prior to the actual start date. So at this point it became a futile conversation as she could not tell when only 3 days prior to actual start date. I cannot believe a company that has several crews working for them not having a scheduling system that can project delays and notify their customers of delays more than 3 days of actual start date. Later that day I got a call from them and they basically said to me it is not our policy to call customer about delays nor will they in the future and then they said to me you want us to do the work or not. Obviously I said yes as I was not about tot start the screening process again and delay getting my roof done any further. As for the work done they did a fine job. As for their customer service....I'm glad I will never have to deal with them again.

It went really well. They did a great job. They’re very efficient. They’ll all say they got what they’re doing because they’ve done it so many times. It went really smoothly. Their price was comparable or a little better than the other best ones.

Container drop-off occurred one day before, as they stated. The guys showed up when they said they would and knocked out the whole roof job in 2 1/2 days. They did a good job cleaning up all the old materials. I'm not sure they were huge fans of my German Shepherd running around the backyard, but they let me know if they needed to get something and I put him up. All in all pretty amicable. When they had any questions they called up and asked before beginning to get authorization so there were absolutely no surprises, I really appreciate that. My wife and I spent several weeks researching roofers and read some real horror stories - thankfully we had absolutely none of that! I got 3 bids on roofing, and Valentine came in with the most cost-effective bid, and I am amazed at how well it turned out. All in all I would say it was a very good transaction. My wife loves the new roof and I'm pretty impressed. Only problem is that now my shabby old paint job really contrasts with that beautiful new roof! One more project to add to the list :D

From the original estimate to final completion and clean-up the job went very well. We were particularly impressed that we were kept informed and consulted when necessary. For example, we were asked if work on a Saturday would be OK.

We got three different bids to replace our roof and chose Valentine Roofing to remove our old clay tile roof and replace it with a new composite roof. From the sales/estimator who met with us and quoted us the price, to the scheduling, and replacement we had an extremely professional and caring experience. I especially appreciated how proactive they were with communicating with us on the status. We did need have some rot that needed to be addressed and they were great at contacting us prior to doing the work and it did not effect the completion time at all. The crew is very hard working and polite. We live on a narrow private lane and they were wonderful at not blocking the lane so our neighbors were not impacted. I would definitely recommend them.

I ended up contacting 5 companies all together after spending time on Valentines website in the FAQ section. (the website says you only need to contact 3 and they were right ) Kim my initial contact pointed me there to learn something about how the process works. It is a great website and not just one with a cool looking homepage, it is interactive and answered everything I was thinking about. Cody came to the house and inspected within a day and told me the history of the company and the owner's commitment to a manufacturers trained team of installers and quality. Valentine has good reputation in our area. I had to work thru the home owners association which had very particular requirements of brand and color which was a hassle because it would cost more. Cody offered to talk to the board to help reduce the cost. They gave me some options and since we are selling the house offered to work us into their schedule so we could get on the market fastest. It went very smoothly , right on time and just like they said the clean up was perfect. The price was very competitive and since a roof is a lot of money for us, I felt confident I was handing money over to a reputable outfit.

Delivered haul away old roofing material container and placed in driveway. Following Monday, roof materials were delivered via Stoneway roofing. This delivery was amazing and interesting. Next day, raining, however the wonderful employees' of Valentine Roofing, started roof shingle removal but would work in-between the rain. It rained on and off throughout the week. Each day the boys' would arrive, wait till it stopped raining and start their work. If it rained too much they would wait it out. We let them use our garage as a shelter during this awful rainy week and I placed a small table and chairs within. The boys' are kind, considerate and very nice to work with. Each day we would order some lunch from local vendor delivery just because we were greatful they were working on my leaky old roof throughout the awful rainy week. Friday came along and almost accomplished with laying the new roofing materials. Almost awesome. They arrived on Saturday to see if they could finish, pouring and pouring down rain. Not a good day. Arrived the following Monday and finished. Beautiful! It no longer rains in my home. Diligent, thoughtful, kind and considerate each and every day they were here. Picked up all the nails, cleaned the deck, roof, and lawn of any debris. We could not be happier! Thank you all for all your kindness!!!! We appreciate your goodness in the install of our new roof! Way to go!

Initially I had to spend too much time getting details from the estimator to firm up the quote but another person got involved and once I had the firm detailed quote I went with Cardinal. I was especially satisfied with the combination of replacement of gutters, replacement of two sky lights, replacement of existing ventilation system with a new and better system, and the installation of gutter cover system that was far less expensive than others on the market. The removal of the cedar went well and Cardinal employees did a great job of keeping the debris under control and in the huge dumpster that was placed on my property. The work went well, the employees were very diligent, oversight of the project was consistent and a good site supervisor in place, and it was all done in a week and all the new things look great. Then it didn't rain for a long time so until the rain in March came the new roof was not tested very well. But, now after alot rain all seems well and I'm satisfied with it all so far and have no outstanding concerns.

The person making the quote and explaining the services was very helpful and walked me through the process. He made recommendtions that I appreciated.The office staff was very knowledgeable and was very good at scheduling and communication. The frustrating rainy days extended the job longer than planned. The crew chief and workers were very hard working and polite. They cleaned up each evening before they left. They discovered a problem with how the siding rested against the roof, so, to prevent water damage they recommended extra work to trim the siding. The roof looks wonderful. When I had questions and concerns they responded quickly. The driver of the truck to deliver materials was very careful about my narrow driveway and went to the extra effort to not damage the driveway. However, the driver of the dumpster drove off the driveway and into the plantings and damaged the edges of the driveway. The only concern is that after the dumpster was removed there was some debris (including nails) on the driveway which I needed to clean up. I was told that is problem is already being discussed by the company.

The salesman: John, come out and explained the 3 types of roofs that would work on my low slope roof. He faxed me an estimate on all three choices right away. One of the things I appreciated was seeing pictures of all three choices and the steps to replace my roof. Then he gave me the name of three people I could call for a recommendation. A week later he called to see if I had any questions. I asked him to come out so we could sign a contract. From the salesman to the women in the office to the crew; they were exceptional. Answered all of my questions and did what they said they would do in the time they specified. When they left everything was left spotless and I now have a beautiful new roof. I would recommend them to anyone who need a new roof.

The roof was in need of replacing, when we bought this place about a year ago and I knew I wanted to give Valentine Roofing a call, after hearing several good reports/reviews. The representative had the misfortune of coming out on a day I was sick. He never complained, but I'm sure my having to make a quick exit while he was writing the contract won't be his best memory. True to the reports, the price was well within reason and in fact was a few thousand under what a family friend had quoted. We went with the best asphalt shingles they had. Care was taken to avoid any damage, roof removal was quick and very efficient and they make sure you understand "they take over your driveway". The crew was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The work progressed very quickly and as I had suspected, whoever did the old roof didn't have quality very close to the top of their list. Not only was a roof put on top an existing roof an open hole, where an old vent once was, had been covered over with nothing more than asphalt shingles. I'm glad I didn't step on that spot during my inspection when i bought the place! Additionally, some facia board was going to have to be replaced, due to a failed gutter system permitting wet-rot. Valentine's roofing professionals addressed all problems without so much as a raised eyebrow. No corners were cut to shave time. Quality is what they sell and Quality is what you get. Flashing is put on the way it's supposed to be installed and the vents aren't those ugly boxes that always seem to find a way to leak/fail. When the project was done, the final cleanup was very good. Considering that several hundred pounds of nails had been removed and installed, endless shingles trimmed, shaped, etc. What my son and I were able to find, doing a measured grid search around the house and on the roof, were 22 nails they had missed out of the thousands they had used. I've found more than that on minor projects. A follow up call was made some time after the work was done to verify I was happy with the job. I was beginning to wonder when I was going to get the final bill, but it finally showed up with no surprises. Well there was one surprise in the overall transaction, Valentine sent us a little thank you for your business pack. I didn't even know those things existed. Way to go Valentine!! I'm in my 60s and don't intend to EVER do another roof. Seeing how they worked and the care that was taken, I'm pretty confident, I won't, but if i do, Valentine is who I'll call. :-)

We were SO impressed with this company!! From the first person we met (John, the sales rep.), to the our wonderful contact person at the office (Sallie), and finally, to the hard-working crew and great crew leader (Jose), we could tell we were dealing with people of integrity. Our first roof was not properly installed, which had been causing us problems for years. After having one company make some repairs a few years ago, we still found that our 17 year-old roof needed to be replaced because it continued to leak, and the leaks were causing damage to the inside of our home. This time we were going to make sure it was done right! We called a few roofing companies, and some gave us lower bids than Valentine, but John made such a good impression that we knew we had found the company to do the job. He came across as so knowledgeable, ethical and professional, that after two or three meetings with him, and after spending some time talking with Sallie on the phone, we signed our contract and never doubted our decision. I should also mention that the two gentlemen who installed our new gutters were also very professional, detailed-oriented, and showed great pride in their work. Our house is now secure and looks wonderful. If you need a new roof, you MUST get a bid from Valentine Roofing. l

Missed or forgotten requests at the onset of work. Down spout not installed. Another down spout was not installed where I had indicated. The drain pipe was removed at one down spout and the outlet is too low to place a splash block diverter. The roof looks good and cleanup was excellent.

The work was done on time and ultimately was quite satisfactory. There was some mis-communication with the company regarding the roof repairs but that was resolved completely. The resolution did cost Valentine Roofing money that they had not planned on but there was no reluctance on their part to make things right. Mis-communication can happen with any business; that is one reason I chose a well know company to work with, knowing that if any problems did arise, they had a reputation to uphold. I would recommend Valentine Roofing to my friends and if I was still in the area, I would use them again.

From initial contact to final clean-up and inspection, this company was fantastic. I'd requested bids from 5 contractors. The property is a ranch-style house and it was a very simple, straightforward job. One contractor came to the house but never sent me a bid and one sent a bid without ever coming to the house so they both were out. Of the remaining 3 bids, two (including Valentine) were within a few hundred dollars of each other and the third was almost $3000 higher. There was no hard sell from Valentine Roofing and everything was clearly laid out in the estimate. It was about 2 months from the time I signed the contract until work started but once it did everything happened when they said it would. The crew worked like crazy and completed the job in just over 2 days. Throughout the process the company was highly professional and communication was excellent. Having a roof done is a messy, noisy, disruptive process but they made it as painless a possible.

Recommended by my friend and Angie's list, I contacted Valentine Roofing to replace my roof and gutters. Although their price was not the cheapest compared to other quotes, but they look more professional to me and their quote included very detailed information so that I can understand the difference between materials. The result proved my decision: they did great job, the new roof look so beautiful and well installed and we love it. All the work were inspected by the company and everything got cleaned up after the project. CSR also contacted me to get feedback after project was done, which shows great respect to customers. Overall this was a great experience working with this company.

I heard their ad on a local radio station and decided to give them a call for an estimate for our roofing project. Kes came out and provided me with an estimate that was very competitive with the others I had received. He was very professional and accommodating with my questions. I usually do not make quick decisions and he was very patient. We decided to go ahead and scheduled the job for the first day after the 4th of July since that is when it stops raining around here! The crew led by Leo showed up on time. They continued to work all day every day for almost a week to complete the job. Never missed a beat. Cleaned up every day before they left. Our roof is very steep in places and has lots of gables and valleys, and 2 chimneys. I had 2 other companies come out to estimate the job and refused to do the work because of the pitch. Nothing fazed these guys.The final cleanup removed all the debris from my gutters and yard. Looked like they were never here! I have a beautiful roof and would highly recommend this company I waited until after the first heavy rain to write this review. I should have written it earlier. Of course there are no leaks or any problems! Great to have a local professional company like Valentine Roofing do our roof! Highly recommend!!

My first contact with Valentine Roofing Inc. was great. Sallie in the office help me set up a time and date for Kes the estimator to come out and look at my house and garage. Kes the estimator showed up on time and was very thorough in his inspection of my house and garage roofs. He went over everything and answered all of my questions. Three weeks after signing the contract, Abraham and his roofing crew showed up to do the job and what a job they did. The roof on the house and garage looks OUTSTANDING! I couldn't be happier with the work. They really deserve an A+ for the great job they did! The whole crew was friendly and very professional in doing their job. I would highly recommend Valentine Roofing, Inc. to friends, family, and neighbors.
