Description of Work: Tore off & replaced 11 sheets of plywood before re-roofing entire house 2500 sq ft. + garage. 1/2 was shingle 1/2 was pvc rubber. My house has many add ons so it was not an easy job.

+ -1 moreThe company representative showed up as scheduled, and we had a good discussion about how the work was to be done. A bid was produced at the end of the visit, which included replacing the underlying framing, and installing plywood sheeting and touch down material. I called the estimator several days later to see if he still thought his framing solution was sufficient, and if so, to schedule the job. He said he was busy, and would call me back. I never heard from him again, although I called two more times, and left messages. I suspect that he under-estimated the scope of the framing work required, and consequently, the quoted price, and didn't want anything more to do with me.
Description of Work: Replace a flat garage roof, including the underlying 2x4 supports that had become rotten.

+ 0 moreOverall the work was well done. Had some minor issues with bird blocking addition (forgot and had to come back), one piece of improperly installed flashing (repaired). Biggest issue was use of water to clean and/or cool shingles toward end of install. Plugged traps in downspouts with debris and caused massive overflow of gutters splattering dirt on siding requiring washing. Received a $75 credit on bill as a result.
Description of Work: Strip and replace existing asphalt shingle roof with new. Build chimney crickets. Protect all vent stacks. Replace furnace vent, flash all valleys and edges. Replace roof vent cans with ridge vent and add bird blocking.

+ -1 moreIt was an outstanding experience. The garbage container arrived around 8 am on 5/8/2017. The materials arrived ½ hour later. The roofers ½ hour later & began the work. They were efficient & pleased with their work. Left things cleaned up & were careful about the landscaping, etc. It seemed unusual that a lady came by & gave them instructions for their next job while they were still on this job. They were always available when I had a question.

Throughout the waiting period,I had updates from an office person who was knowledgeable and friendly. The crew arrived, with Nicolas as a foreman. Nicolas did a fine job of communicating. The workers worked hard and did a good job. I had a shed that needed to have a skylight replaced, but NIcolas replaced the whole roof. He went above and beyond, also showing me photos of chimney damage. I was very happy with the work. The comfort level in my house increased noticeably with the new roof.

Communication was excellent. The quality of the work was exceptional. Valentine was not my lowest bid, but the cost was competitive and worth it, for the high quality materials and installation by a well trained company crew. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.
