Overall well, the crew took their time (very hot days) so work took a little longer than estimated. Solar skylights proved to be a complex request, but with the help of the skylight rep to do some programming all was well. There were a few minor punch-list items like any large project. They were proactive in communication, welcomed feedback and resolved issues efficiently. 6mo later the roof has survived its first winter well.

Scheduled an appointment via the phone, was greeted with a smile by a nice salesman. Professional with great standards. Completed job as expected.

Terrible, email the signed contract Oct 5th 2017, no response. Called them (Marcus) weeks later to confirm they received the contact and they had, but no one called. Was told we were 3 in line and then never heard back from them again. Called again and was told they were running behind because "one of their guys was out sick". Sent another email weeks later no response. Called and Marcus answered and I asked again when my job would be scheduled, he said it should be a few weeks, provided the weather was dry. Received an email from Tara Jan 8th saying my project was 10-12 weeks out, because "there were several repairs in front of yours with earlier sign dates, as well as your repair being subject to weather". Earlier than Oct 5th !! Completely unprofessional. I called them specifically because KIRO person Dori Monson is a spokesman and because of their rating from Angie's List. Really disappointed and their quote wasn't even close to the most competitive.

Was able to schedule work a month earlier than originally estimated – great since I was experiencing leaks. The installation crew were friendly, professional and experienced. The crew worked hard throughout the project, from sunrise to sunset. They paid great attention to detail. They made great effort to not drop debris off of the roof and did a very detailed daily cleanup. The project manager called me at least once a day to check in and tell me how things were going and to see if I had any questions or concerns. He responded extremely quickly to any issues. Valentine did a great job with communication and keeping me informed about the work. Their prices were competitive. I was very happy that I selected them.

Valentine Roofing did an outstanding job in every aspect of our roof project. From estimating, scheduling, installation and clean up, the staff was very professional. They went above and beyond to guarantee our satisfaction. We would highly recommend Valentine Roofing.

They could not even come out to give me an estimate, since I was having two hips and a ridge extended 12' (same footprint). Not a problem with other roofers! An estimate is just that, an estimate.

It went well. I gave a C for the cost because the estimate of $7707 turned into $10991. We were told we’d probably need “a couple “ of boards replaced at extra cost. Turned out to be 39. Although we realize they were necessary we thought the estimation could have been more accurate. The B for quality was because a board in the ceiling was slightly displaced. Jose and his partner were hard workers. The roof looks great.

John A did a great job meeting with us about the project the bid and the options we had for the roof. Their timing was exactly as promised, the work was professional and their customer support desk personnel kept us posted the entire time. Great work.

Job was on time, added work was explained to my satisfaction. I would definitely hire again when I reroof garage.

It went very well. The work was completed very close (within $100) to the original estimate. The estimate itself was $16K less than the first estimate I received from another company! The 3 man crew was on-time every day, worked hard, and cleaned up every day before they left. They did a professional job in my opinion and the roof looks great. They replaced two sheets of plywood roof sheathing and replaced some cedar siding around my fireplace extension. They even painted the first coat on the siding for me. The gutters were installed by one of Valentine's subcontractors and they removed the old and put up the new gutters in a color that matched my trim. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and their workmanship, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Almost everything went super well. The initial contact was good, the estimate came quickly, and the work itself was done quickly and on schedule. I've had a few neighbors replace their roofs recently, and the difference is pretty stark. Seen more than a few stretch out a lot longer and leave them with piles of materials or dumpsters in their driveways for a lot longer than they should be. The whole process was 2-3 days, and the dumpster drop off and removal happened right before and after the job so it was not lingering around. Really efficient crew, and a tightly run operation in general. There was one small thing i noticed after the job which was arguably by design, and they came back a couple days later to make sure it was right. Price was middle of the pack, but the materials and construction methods were all top shelf by default. The only thing i would ding them on was the process between signing up for them to do the work and getting it scheduled was a bit of a mess. It seems like two halves of the business trying to connect while you wait patiently. Everything worked out fine, but there were some odd moments between giving them the deposit and the work getting properly officially scheduled.

They did not show up for the estimate nor did they call.

The work was done in April 2017. It was originally planned for Sept 2016, but my condition was that I did not want the work done if rain was possible. Valentine honored my concern and waited until there was a reasonable time where no rain would fall. I would have liked it earlier, but I can't fault them for the weather. The crew was out on time everyday. The roof looks good and I was on site the whole time. They cleaned up every afternoon. The only thing I would have liked to see is that a QA person show up to look at the work once each day. Never came. We had a couple issues of which Valentine addressed to my complete satisfaction and found them easy to work with. Haven't had any major rain yet, but I am confident I won't have an issue. Will update this review accordingly, if necessary.

Inspector never arrived. Inspector never called to state he would be late or needed to reschedule. Calls to Valentine were not returned.

Valentine's reps were responsive, polite, and informative at all steps in the process, from the initial quote (which was done in about April), scheduling, deposit, and completion of the work. When questions came up mid-project, the project manager was immediately available to handle it. The 3 men who completed the job were polite and worked hard to get the job done in under 3 days. At the end of every day they cleaned the area well. My son was super-duper impressed that they even brought their own mobile toilet.

It went extremely well , They did our roof to the house in 2015 & now the roof on the large shop. We are very happy!

Excellent work. Because of the size of the roof, the crew worked 7+ days until finished. Cleaned up every day. Always kept us in the loop during the project. Great crew led by Salvador.

I got good recommendations about this company, but since I never heard anything back from them, I found a couple others that do just as good a job.

They were outstanding, saving our old 35 year-old skylight saving $1700. The quality is great, first class color matching flashing, had smart vent system installed to let roof breath and hold less heat in summer. They finished on-time with a minor delay. Cleanup was good. Everything went well. Especially their crew leader Nicolas. He is a first class person, cheerful, polite and on-time.

Very good - workers did excellent job, kept me up to date, cleaned up after themselves - very happy.
