Description of Work: Two guys showed up. They seemed nice and professional. We had them install our ceiling fan in the second bedroom where a light was already in the middle. So they just had to put in a new box to handle the extra weight of the fan. | |We got a couple estimates for some other fan options in the house. I was surprised to hear how expensive it would cost to put a fan in our master bedroom where was wasn't already a light box in the middle of the room. Seems like the electrical work in general is pretty expensive. | |Anyway, the work they did was good and I'd use them again. You could probably find a cheaper/smaller outfit that is just as good, but whatever.

Description of Work: Very polite and did work quickly. He installed 4 light fixtures for me (including changing a recessed light into a pendent light) and checked a few circuits in the house to see if they had power.

Description of Work: The company arrived to do an estimate of the work and it was determined that no services were required.

Description of Work: I purchased coupon for outdoor outlet and also wanted another one several feet away. Bryant came out to give me an estimate of the second outlet. He also checked the electrical panel and said that it had been recalled 2 yrs ago. I had been told I needed to replace it by another electrician so I was not surprised. I contracted them for the work. Bryant and Ali were very efficient and professional. It as an all day job in hot weather. The inspector will not be out until 7/16. I do not expect any problems. I will certainly will use them again. I also have referred then to a friend that needs some work done.

Description of Work: I was pretty sure our garage door control was malfunctioning. The last time I operated it, something was smoldering. I couldn't see the smoke, but my son and I could smell it. We stopped using the garage door opener until we could get help with it. Bryant took a look and determined it was not the opener, but the light switch I'd been trusting that was the problem. While we were away, our friend used the opener to dog sit for 6 days with no problem. |This was our second positive experience with As You Wish. |

Description of Work: The foreman came over to give us an estimate on replacing two sets of bathroom fans with associated heat lamps and regular lights. Gave us the hard sell about smoke detectors and rheostats we didn't want. Said he'd write down all the part numbers in our file for when we were ready to go. Apparently that file was lost. We scheduled an appointment and another person contacted us to get more details on parts we needed. I sent two emails with lots of pictures of brand names of the originals and all measurements and light specs. They confirmed they'd gotten them. The same foreman and one other employee arrived on time and started to work. The employee had no problem but the foreman had to leave and go find the right parts for the second job because he said the wrong ones had been put on the truck. This after he'd supposedly written them down and I'd answered two emails of questions with pics, names and measurements. He didn't take that long getting the parts, but turned out not needing to replace the unit he said he'd need to replace after all and just fixed the wiring and gave us new covers. We asked him to lower the bill. He took $100 off but was not in a pleasant mood the entire trip. The other employee was very good and efficient at getting the other bathroom done. I would never feel this firm was reliable again for what was not a complicated job.

Description of Work: I decided not to use this company because I sought advice from two other people, an electrical engineer and a contractor, who said the bid was way out of price. Also when the company took my name, they misspelled it plus they wrote the wrong address. I called the electrician and told him and also asked for an updated electronic bid with some items he put on the bid that I did not request for. He still did not send an update. So I am getting bids from other electric companies.

Description of Work: They wired and installed four lights in our living room ceiling and convinced us to put in LED fixtures, bulbs included. When the job was done, we didn't like the bright white light, so we called to express our concern. They sent someone out a few days later to swap out the bulbs for warmer color and we were happy.

Description of Work: Installed 5 can lights in kitchen & 4 in living rm, put dimmers on two new switches.
