AS YOU WISH ELECTRIC

At the time of service (5-1/2 years ago) we were extremely disappointed at the craftsmanship. The new downlights were crooked and leaked light around the rims; the kitchen pendant was not securely fastened and wiggles to this day. The workers were sloppy and not punctual. However, I am only writing this now because in trying to sell our house, an inspection noted some serious problems with the work, which was not executed to code. Very deliberate and dangerous shortcuts were taken in installing a new electric panel and the panel is not properly grounded. J-boxes and outlets improperly completed. We hired a licensed electrical contractor to perform the work to professional standards and TO CODE. There is no evidence now, in reviewing the paperwork, that a proper permit was obtained and proper municipal inspections made, CONTRARY to what we were told. I noticed their truck at a neighbor's house and almost ran in to tell them to find someone else. This is not only unprofessional, but potentially dangerous activity on their part. I am now having to pay and REPUTABLE licensed electrical contractor to fix the problems.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for As You Wish Electric. I called them and came right out that same day.

They were on time and very professional, we had what we thought was a circut breaker outage, but it turned out to be a bad plug in the line. He replaced the receptical and all was good. He offered to look at anything else we were having issues with since it was such a quick job, but fortunately we did not have anything at the time. This is the second time we have used "As you wish" Electric, they will be our main source to call when we have electrical issues.

All electric repairs were permitted and passed inspections. After spending $9,000 to upgrade electrical systems in my home to install an air conditioner (and air cleaner), the first time the conditioner (and air cleaner) was used - it caused a garage GFCI switch to trip (circuit with air cleaner). Since my freezer was on that circuit, I lost half of the contents of my freezer. When the problem was discovered (48 hours later), I phoned the company and left a message. The response to the message was 6 hours later. When the technician arrived and checked out the problem, it was discovered that the electrical panel recently installed did not have correct labels for garage receptacles. I had turned off the switch labeled "garage recepts" which actually was the circuit for my ironing board. I paid an additional $600 to install a separate circuit for my freezer. (And correct mistakes on the new service panel.)

Purchased a Big deal for As You Wish Electric to check an electrical outlet in the kitchen. Very happy with the service, showed up on time, very professional. They traced the problem and repaired the outlet in the kitchen.

The provider arrived promptly, identified the best location for the electrical box, installed it quickly, checked the operation and offered to provide estimates for other electrical services in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out very well and I was very satisfied. It was a very good and satisfying experience.

They were great. They ended up doing a really nice job. We had a couple lights that were out. They did the $75 service to make sure the electricity was good and then they identified the problem with the lights under my kitchen. They let me know it was the transformer and gave me a quote. They were knowledgeable. I did not have to wait very long for them to come out. The price was reasonable. They were good, on time.

They were very attentive. They called to set up an appointment, called to remind me of the appointment, called to confirm the time they were coming that day, and called to follow up on the appointment.

Did an excellent job. Told me that the old panel was not tripping circuit breakers when it should have been. They were correct.

The programmable timer switches required a neutral wire. As part of the home inspection, we requested that As You Wish Electric inspect the light boxes to ensure that they all had the needed wiring. Anthony, from As You Wish Electric, arrived on time and completed a thorough inspection of the electrical panel and the light boxes that would be swapped out. He confirmed that they all had the necessary wiring. While he was at our home, we asked him to give us an estimate on several other projects that we were interested in completing. Anthony was courteous and professional during the entire process, which spanned a couple of weeks as we researched online the components to be used in the various projects. He was responsive and very patient in answering our questions. Although he later determined that his estimate for changing the light switches was low, he honored his initial bid price. We decided to move forward with this, plus installing a whole house surge protector. Anthony had their dispatcher contact us to schedule the installation. On the install day, Anthony arrived within the one-hour window given to us. We were pleasantly surprised that another electrician was sent to work with Anthony. I apologize that Anthony's co-worker's name escapes me, but I would be remiss if I didn't say that he, like Anthony, was very courteous and professional. They both surveyed the work to be done, putting on booties before they entered our home, and split up the work between them. They did not even have to turn off the power, which was very helpful. With two people, the work was completed in half the time promised. The flush-mounted, whole house surge protector should provide a nice first line of defense for our major appliances that were not protected (they recommended that sensitive electronics continue to be protected at the site by a plug in surge protector). The programmable timer switches work great. We could not have been more pleased with the entire process and the folks at As You Wish

This company has great customer service. They answer the phone right away and can schedule an appointment on the spot. The electrician was prompt and easy to communicate with. I bought the Big Deal for an outdoor outlet, but had other things on my list to do. he tackled them all very quickly and did a great job. It was a great experience, but their rates are more than other electricians that I have worked with. I got one bid from them to do some work and the second bid was half the price for the same work. I would still use them again.

Technician was on time, professional and experienced. He did a nice job, was very clean, and careful.

I was very pleased with the quality of service I received. They scheduled my repair very quickly and the repairman actually arrived early. He was very courteous and did a great job. My complaint is regarding the price. I bought the "$84 electrical inspection + $100 credit" as a normal service call is around $100. He quickly determined we had a bad gfi outlet. To replace the outlet cost over $150. I asked the repairman how much the part would be at home depot. The answer: under $25. It took him about 5 minutes to replace the part. So in the end, I still ended up paying around $200...crazy to think it would have been closer to $300 without that package I bought. $200-300 for a $25 part and less than 20 minutes total of service is not a very fair price, in my opinion.

They were great, very responsive, professional, it was obvious that Anthony knew what he was doing.

They arrived did a two hour inspection. I had asked that they make a list of the most important issues they find that need to be upgraded or attended too. They did an outstanding job and prioritizing the list. They didn't try to do a hard sell of other smaller fixes that needed to be done. I evaluated the list talked it over with technician and decided upon the things that could be potential problems or safety hazards and addressed them first. These guys are very professional and knowledgable. I would use them again!

I am always happy with As You Wish Electric. An Angie's List Big Deal was published the day before our front porch light fixture stopped working, so for $75 I purchased an electrical home safety check along with a $100 credit. This happened during a busy work week and I was able to schedule the service via email, which was very convenient. There customer service is pleasant and professional, and they were very flexible in scheduling the service around some mid-day appointments I had. The electrician arrived at my home and put on cloth booties before coming inside. He listened to what the problem was, explained what he would do to diagnose the source, and what would do during the safety inspection. He worked quickly and efficiently and communicated clearly at each step. He replaced the light fixture with a new one picked up from the local home store, and replaced the light switch that controlled it as the original way it was wired wasn't correct. The safety inspection provided me with new information about the wiring in my home, allaying a concern that had bothered me for a few years, and was able to talk to me about options for improving safety and reliability at several price points. When he was done I felt better about my home.

They installed the new panel for us. They came out and did good work for me. I paid a little extra for the permit for the city inspector, which I didn’t know was not included. However, their work is good.

We used an Angie'slist deal. The electrician was late because he was lost but someone from the company called and kept me updated as to how far away he was, which was very good. The worked was performed quickly and professionally.

Great people. We have used As You Wish before. Clean, punctual knowledgeable. He did what needed to be done and checked our electrical box as well.

Anthony was fantastic. He called me about an hour before the appointment and told me that he was running early if that was possible. He showed up on time and understood the issue immediately. He jumped right into the situation and got is solved very quickly. The whole time he was friendly and professional. There was no pressure to do a bunch of othter work, just some high level recomendations and estimates. He finished in about 45 minutes and had completed all the work we were looking to do.
