A Better Roofing Company

It all went well. They did it for the price they bid and did it in a timely manner. I have no problems and they cleaned up well afterwards.

Alan came out to give me an estimate for a new roof. He informed me that I did not need to have a new roof yet. He said all I needed to do at this time was replace the flashing & replace a few shingles. I had 2 other companies come out & tell me I needed to replace the roof & I was given astronomical estimates! I decided to go with his recommendation & then joined Angie's List to find a company to do the work. I contacted 5 companies regarding roof repair & AAA1 Roofing was the only one who responded. They did the roof repair for me & I have to say they were great. A Better Roofing will be the company I go with hands down when I need a new roof!

Initial visit was very informative and reassuring. When we said "yes," we were given a target week (about six weeks in advance); they confirmed the week before; showed up exactly when expected; did the entire job in three days; cleaned up so impeccably that there was no trace of their having been there except that the driveway was much cleaner than it had been before. The workers were courteous, respectful, prompt, rapid, hard-working, and they did an awesome job. They even improved/strengthened our incoming electrical/cable hookup, which was above and beyond.

I enthusiastically recommend this company. J.P. came out to provide us with an estimate within two days of being called. He was able to describe the work that needed to be done with more clarity than either of the other two companies that came out. Our job was complex because of the combination of flat roof and composite shingle roofing and the built in cutters. He was very helpful and patient with our questions. His estimate was lower than others we had received. The job was scheduled for early October and was actually started the end of October because of rain. We received a call two days prior to work beginning. The work crew arrived precisely on time and introduced themselves and gave us the card of the lead person with the number to call with questions or concerns. They discovered a roof beam that was fractured. The company manager came the next day and explained what they could do to fix it. We agreed and they fixed it. The roof is beautiful!

They did a great job. It looked so nice when they were done with the roof. They came out on time and they really showed a lot of interest in what I wanted done. I was very happy with them and I felt that they very familiar with the roofing business. Their workers have a lot of skills. The team was very helpful. They were always timely from the first consultation to the completion. The left the area around the house in perfect condition. None of my landscaping was damaged in the least. I would definitely use them again if the need ever arose, and I would be proud to recommend them to anyone.

See above. I'm disappointed they don't do repairs and will call another company.

This company is a full time roofing company and uses the same workers on all of their jobs. They worked fast and completed the job on time. We were the only house where the roofer put on a temporary patch to prevent more damage. They did an outstanding job for us.

Alan Lench was the person who did my work. He had a can do attitude that was great. They did a magnificent job. I am very touchy about my yard and they cleaned everything up on time. I asked them last minute if they would put roofing on my back porch and they said they would and only charge me 200 hundred dollars extra.

They did a great job on completely replacing our roof. They used top quality materials, spread tarps all the way around the perimeter of the house to catch debris and trash, left the yard looking like no one had been there, and did all of this at the best price I got quoted to me. I got a great value and the best quality work available based on my observations of my many neighbors who also had roofs replaced. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

A Better Roofing was really good. They were fair and professional and the men were clean cut and friendly. They finished in a timely manner and cleaned up their mess, so I was completely satisfied.

They were very professional and I was very happy with the work that came almost $1,000 under the bid price. They are a fantastic company that you might not even know about and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Went very well. The estimator was pleasant, did not pressure me for a decision. Was willing to go over the details of the process. Once a date was made ( 8 weeks out) he was done. But the company called 2 days in advance to remind me, one day in advance to say they were leaving materials out in the yard. The workers arrived exactly on time, gave me a card with the crew boss name on it, called me once to explain a slight change and cost increase. Did not require payment until the job was totally done. Did all the work requested, and worked two very long days. Cleaned up what they messed up.

Alan came out and gave me a quote. He was nice and confident. They had the best price and I was comfortable with his professionalism and the reports I had seen on Angie's List. They scheduled the work for about 2 months away. The day before, they had the roofing delivered to the curb in front of my house (they had to carry it up as my house sits too far from the street) and they had a dumpster dropped off on the street. The next day, the crew showed up and went right to work. They did an incredible job protecting my plants and yard but scuffed up the deck just a tiny bit. They kept to themselves and were professional and were done in about 2.5 days. They cleaned up really well and left. I had to call later to get someone to come out to collect the money and look over the job with me. That fellow was rather abrupt and didn't really listen and minimized my concerns but I guess that's why he is the money getter. Overall, I was very pleased with the job and would recommend the company.

They finished the work in time but there were some cracks in my siding. There was a communication gap because they said only the material would be transferable to a new owner not their work.

Stopped in to the Airport Way office and met with Miguel Saucedo who helped me understand the world of roofing. This new roof was going onto a house that I had recently purchased and needed to work with myself as well as the current owners as the roof was to be replaced before I moved in. Miguel was very helpful telling the differences between 20-30-40+ year roofs and gave me samples that I could take back to chose the color. Everything was done either as described or better! Originally was scheduled for end of June but an opening came up two weeks early. Miguel called the day before the materials were delivered, and two days later a whole new roof was completed. Each day the crew was on time and very courteous. They also took the time to explain the process to me. At the end of each day the entire yard/roof was cleaned up so that you wouldn't know that they were doing such a messy job. VERY good to work with!!!

They were very pleasant and easy to talk to, straight forward, no gimmicks or "the what if" game. They were on time, hardworking, did it all in one day, replaced the rotten wood at no extra charge and the job looks wonderful! I've recommended them to friends who also love their work.

Pointed out the problem was most likely caused by incorrect skylight flashing and gave advice regarding how to fix it. No charge. Definitely would consider them when it's time to replace the roof.

Alan?s and everyone else at ABRC were a pleasure to work with. Alan explained all of our options and even left off thing he knew we didn't need. The crew was very hard working and did a thorough job in completing the roof. We had all of our questions answered and the date and services were completed as agreed upon. The only small issue was a tree in front of our house was damaged by the roofing supply company's truck when it was delivering the supplies. At final payment they owner was willing to compensate us for the damaged tree. This small issue did spoil what was a nice experience.

They seem to know what they were doing. I had a question after they were done, there was a minor problem but hey came out right away and fixed the problem. I would definitely recommend them. They did great work.

They were extremely talented roofers. They are business like but don't look for a conversation. It rained cats and dogs once the old roof was off, but the roofers did a great job covering it before leaving for the night. The roofers tried hard to cover shrubs and succeeded 99% of the time. The office reps promised list of just finished homes (for my painting project) twice but never delivered. It was my only disappointment, but not a bad one. They also promised to come and do intermittent patch work for leaky old roof and arrived in a timely manner as promised. I am extremely pleased and recommend to all.

They were very prompt with their estimate and prompt when putting the roof on. They did excellent cleanup and I would use them again.

EXCELLENT ALL AROUND. THEY HAD TO RESCHEDULE DUE TO A CREW BEING LET GO FOR SAFETY VIOLATIONS. ALTHOUGH THEY DID NOT CALL RIGHT AWAY ABOUT THAT, THEY DID COMMUNICATE AFTER IN A TIMELY MANNER.

THE REP WHO TOOK THE MEASUREMENTS AND GAVE THE ESTIMATE WAS QUITE PROFESSIONAL. THE WORKERS WERE CONSIDERATE AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THERE WERE SOME MINOR SNAGS (IE ONE OF THE SKYLIGHTS HAD FROSTED GLASS, WHICH WAS NOT WHAT WE WANTED)BUT THEY CORRECTED THE SNAGS IN A TIMELY MANNER. OUR CONTRACT CALLED FOR ONLY THE RE-ROOFING OF THE ORIGINAL PORTION OF THE STRUCTURE, AND NOT THE ADJOINING ADDITION (WHICH WE WERE PLANNING TO DO OURSELVES). THIS CONTRACTOR EXCEEDED THE CONTRACT BY RE-ROOFING THE ADDITION ANYWAY, BUT DID NOT CHARGE US FOR IT. I SUSPECT THAT THERE WERE MINOR GLITCHES IN COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE OFFICE AND THE WORKERS. THEY DID A GOOD JOB PROTECTING THE ROOF OVERNIGHT DURING THE JOB. THE JOB DID TAKE A COUPLE DAYS LONGER THAN ANTICIPATED, BUT WEATHER WAS PARTLY TO BLAME. OVERALL,THE WORK WAS PROFESSIONALLY DONE. THE PROBLEMS WERE MINOR AND WERE QUICKLY REMEDIED. VERY GOOD WORK OVERALL. THIS COMPANY KEEPS ITS PROMISES.

THEY WERE AWESOME - VERY FRIENDLY TO WORK WITH IN HELPING US PICK OUT SHINGLE STYLES AND COLORS. THE SHOWED UP ON TIME AND IN FACT, HAD ENOUGH YOUNG MEN WHO CAME THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE ENTIRE JOB IN 1 DAY! THE ROOF LOOKED GREAT WHEN FINISHED AND STILL DOES. EXCELLENT COMPANY - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
