We needed a new roof including new sheeting. Our roof was a 23 year old composite roof with 3/8" sheeting. We received 3 bids from different roofing companies. All of the bids came in within a few hundred dollars of each other. We decided to go with A Better Roofing Company because of reviews, their history in the area dating back to 1991, and the professionalism of Daniel who wrote up the estimate. We received the estimate in October 2018 and the job was completed in December 2018. Scheduling was a difficult because of the rainy days. The crew started on a friday and finished on sunday. The crew worked right thru until the job was done. When i had my extimate done i had choosen white flashing around the roof to match the facia board. The crew mistakenly installed dark flashing that matched the black roof we choose. When I did the walk through after the job was completed with Michael right before Christmas i pointed that out. He immediately said they would come out and replace it with the correct flashing. Since Christmas was a few days away I related to Michael that they could come out anytime after Christmas, no hurry. The next day when i got home from work it was all replaced. That was being responsive! The roof is beautiful and solid. I would recommend A Better Roofing Company to everyone.

From start to finish A Better Roofing company was outstanding. One of the few companies I've spoken to that hasn't exaggerated on work or used scare tactics. They were honest from the beginning with a price around half of the next cheapest bid with the same materials. We had a fair amount of mold and wood rot on our decking so most of the plywood needed replacing. Alan didn't try to make the damage seem worse than it was and gave us a very reasonable estimate on new plywood. One of the guys from a different company was offering to buy me a beer because the mold was "sooo severe" and he was sorry for me. Alan gave us a recommendation on a mold company who actually ended up saying it wasn't too bad. The roof replacement itself was great. The workers were nice, respectful and really fast. I have a friend that used to do roofing that commented on how impressed he was with their attention to detail. The workers cleaned everything up meticulously without leaving any nails, staples or other materials in the lawn. Next time I need a roof, I won't hesitate to call them.

Timely, professional, well-priced work

We had A Better Roofing Co. do our roof about 8 years ago. They were excellent. They are always there for us when we have questions like: can we attach something to the roof without damaging it, etc. They have come out to study the questions and give answers. This time, during the storm and rain, a tree fell and damaged our roof some. They came out the next morning and scoped it out. Making sure that any holes would be secure and not do further water damage to the roof, etc. until they could get the tiles for our roof and come repair it. Which they did. They returned and installed and repaired the damage. It looks great. They are a company that not only stands behind their work, they don't forget previous clients!

A Better Roofing Co did the work faster than I expected, considering the rainy weather we had at the time. They placed tarps around most of the house to protect the landscaping from falling debris. The price was good with no surprise extra charges. If you need roofing work definitely get a quote from them.

Great. Showed up earlier than scheduled ( both time of day and week ) which came as a bit of a surprise, but allowed the project to be completed earlier and in more conducive weather. Overall a very good experience.

Putting house on the mArket, wanted to get n inspection.

Everything went very well. There was a slight snafu concerning the arrival time of the dumpster, but other than that I was very pleased with the service I received and the diligence of the workers. The clean-up was excellent and there were checks done on the work after it was finished.

All good. Only price in the end was a bit higher than was originally expected.

The roofinggwrnt as scheduled looks good keeps out the rain and they cleaned up to better than when they started. They didn’t need money up front and came by a week later to check that I was happy and then collected the check.

The job was performed professionally , efficiently and wonderfully. They used the fleeting breaks in the weather to get the job done super fast. They left our yards cleaner than they were before their work began.

They don't need the reviews. they are so amazing they have been in business forever. Everybody loves them. They are pretty well known. They are very responsive. They really understand older homes. I think they are locally owned so I like that. I never felt price gouged. They aren't the cheapest game in town but you get what you pay for.

That was good also. We had no complaints. I'm sure their price-range was good or we wouldn't have chosen him. Everything was cleaned up and taken care of. The quality has been great; no problems.

This was the 2nd time I worked with A Better Roofing Company for a new roof. I was a happy customer from the first job, so went straight to ABR again when needing a new roof for the current house. From the time of responding to estimation, to timely delivery of the quote, to actual replacement, cleanup, all went very well. When Mike came by to collect payment, I was pleasantly surprised to see an invoice $2K less than the original quote. Mike explained to me that due to the way my house is, they used aerial view to compute size and estimate, and when they came to do the work, it was less hence my final bill was reduced. ABR Company's integrity is one of the many reasons I love working with them.

The quality of their proposal was impressive.  Each component was itemized, with possible options and associated costs also shown.  Payment was not required until after completion of the work, and they allowed $5K to be put on a credit card. The work crew of four spent three days on the project, and part of an additional day finishing up.  Some of the beaded board had to be replaced, which added about $600 to the initial bid.  During the placement of the first dumpster, the barge board to which the electrical power line was attached was damaged, and had to be replaced at no additional cost. Tearing off and replacing 100 years of roofing resulted in a lot of dust, debris and disruption, but the crew managed it as well as I think could be expected.  They did a nice job.
