Clean, friendly staff. Two came the first time, one the second time. They didn't mind me asking questions. Felt like they checked the wiring well which left me feeling confident. Gave me some extra advice about outdoor lights.

We have 24-foot high ceilings, so the process was pretty involved. I got this company from Angie's List, and they honored a discount for Angie's List members. The price was competitive. The installation went smoothly. The employee, Scott, was very personable, strong & tall. He brought the appropriate supplies (a very tall ladder) and completed the job in a timely manner. I'm happy with their services and I would highly recommend them.

It took about three days for Eugene and his assistant to do the work. My husband and I are very satisfied with it and will continue using PK Electric in the future when we need more work (like adding more receptacles). At first they didn't use drop clothes, but when I requested it, they went out and got some. If we had it to do over again, we would be more prepared for the fact that cutting holes in walls to do rewiring is very messy and creates a lot of dust.

Called PK Electric and they scheduled very conveneint times to install lights as we received them. The electricians were very personable and professional, and did fantastic work. They were prompt, clean and very responsive. We will definitely be using them again.

The first time I made an appointment the technician did not show up. When I called they told me that something came up where he wasn?t able to come, but I didn?t receive a call letting me know. I made another appointment and the technician did come out. He asked me a lot of questions that I did not really know the answers to. He then informed that it was something that they couldn?t fix since it was the fan that was malfunctioning not the electrical work. I am concerned that his diagnosis was incorrect and I feel like I need a second opinion.

The electrician was on-site the same day that I requested service - he was on-time, and finished the job in a timely, very professional manner. I have used PK Electric in the past, and they consistently offer very fast and quality service at a reasonable price.

The old electric meter mounted on the side of my 1950's house broke (bakelite parts inside fatigued and broke causing an electrical arc across the poles). Unfortunately, parts for the old meter were unavailable and necessitated the retrofitting of a newer model meter to the side of the house. Arriving exactly on time, the super nice electrician quickly assessed what was needed, called his higher HQ to get approval and set out to get the parts. Rather than rip out the old meter which was built INTO the side of the external wall (with brand new siding surrounding it), the decision was made to gut the old meter box and mount the new box on the top of the old one, completely covering the old box. This unconventional work-around not only looked OK when complete, but was the economical best-choice for fixing this problem without forcing a complete remodel around the outside of the meter and inside the house where the breaker box was. This ingenuity saved me some $$$. Work was completed fairly quickly with the help of two electricians on site, and I was billed later. Even though the fix was unorthodox, the local building inspector OK'd the job which led the way for PSE to come out for the permanant hook-up to the rooftop weather-head without hesitation. If I need an Electrical company in the future, I'll return to PK Electric, even if they are not the cheapest...

After calling two other electricians (who never returned my call), I tried PK Electric. They answered the phone, sent someone straight over. He was professional, did the work immediately and charged us for an hour of labor. According to my staff, he was also cute.

I called just before lunch and was pleased to hear someone could be there in a couple hours. They arrived at exactly 2:40pm. The electrician (I want to say Steve but I am really not sure) was very pleasant and professional. He seemed knowledgeable and was very hard working. He did not stop working for a minute for the entire time he was there (3.5hours). We never did figure out where I lost power from but we looked almost everywhere. We figure it probably came from a junction box in the attic crawlspace. If anything is wrong I am quite sure that is the fault of the electrician I had in a few years ago to replace the service. I know he had done some weird stuff that I will probably be finding out about for years to come. Anyway, I was pleased that we were able to solve the problem by restoring power from a dedicated line that was fed only to one outlet in that room. He disconnected the old feed wire and labeled it so that no one tries to energize it. Of course they get a B for price (Is it possible for an electriction to earn an A?) The charge $125 for the first hour and $95 for every hour after (minus 10% for AngiesList). I imagine that is near market rate for a good electrician. I knew what it cost when he left and I still felt okay about it. He was there exactly from 2:40 to 6:20pm and that is what they charged me for.

They were great, discovered problem on Dec 30, were having company on new years day - office dispatcher had to call out to find someone to take the job, then promptly called me back. Electrician showed up, figured out the issue and fixed it. He was very polite & professional.

They inspected the wiring, and they discovered that it was a larger job than I thought at first. They came back two days later to finish, while leaving everything in a safe condition in the meantime. They took the time to explain everything that was wrong, so I am confident that they made the necessary repairs economically.

Called for an appointment and arranged for a technician to arrive the very next day. Technician called me when he left the shop for my house and arrived shortly after, almost exactly at the appointed time. After a brief discussion, he set to work diagnosing the problems (there were two distinct and different problems) and worked quickly and efficiently, totally willing to answer questions while working. Once each problem was diagnosed, the technician offered multiple solutions and walked through the impact each would have. Both problems were fixed in a manner that I was happy with and were within my budget. Once the technician left, I discovered that a different circuit did not appear to have power. Upon calling PK Electric, they connected me with the technician directly, and we were able to determine that the problem was with a patch panel (for a generator) switch that hadn't been reverted back to the incoming line. PK Electric appeared to be willing to send the technician back out to fix the problem promptly if it had not been such a minor issue. While the wiring problems are not totally resolved in my house, they have been addressed professionally and within my budget. I will definitely be contacting PK Electric again if I have another problem.

Arrived on time, assessed problem, got his tolls and went right to work. Cleaned up after the work completed. Calculated bill - discount given for using Angie's List.

The electrician was on time and completed the work in about an hour and a half. Some of the wiring was a little wacky, but he worked through it and everything works great now. The only thing is that he accidentally kept my electrical tester but called later that morning to let me know, and said he would drop it off next time through the area.

On time. Methodical in tracking down the issue. Good advice on how outdoor circuit *should* be installed in the future.
