PK Electric was easy to work with on scheduling, and the technician repaired the non working light, installing a missing ceiling box and new wires. Labor charges was for 1.5 hours. I've use PK before and have been satisfied with their work.

Our outside landscape lights were not working.Steve came and got them working and instead of needing to replace fixtures he figured out a way to fix tops of broken lights. I could not be more pleased with the service the professionalism. This is the type of company you want to support and under promises and over delivers. Exceptional and refreshing.

The electrician arrived promptly and looked the situation over. I think he knew what the problem was, but had to determine where it was. Turns out, it was a loose common wire in a completely different receptacle. He spent an hour troubleshooting and when he repaired it, he cleaned up after me... I'd pulled several plates off and had a few of the receptacles pulled out. I'm super happy with the service and especially the price. I'll recommend PK Electric to my friends and neighbors.

Excellent! Accurate diagnosis of the problem, quick fix and the cheapest quote! They were amazing throughout the whole process, please get a quote from them if you have an electrical job! I could not have had a better experience from start to finish. I spoke with Scott at the main office initially and told him about wanting to get an extra outlet installed and troubleshoot and burning smell behind my thermostat. He gave me a quote for the troubleshoot and the outlet installation. His quote was about 10% less than the next lowest competitor. After we initially talked, I realized that I forgot to mention that the thermostat was programmable and I would like it replaced with one that would have similar features. Scott called me back to discuss this and we realized that it was cheaper for me to order one through Amazon instead of having his company buy the same thing. So I ordered it and he was flexible enough to move my appointment back until after it arrived. So, Eugene arrived at my place exactly on time. He was very courteous and answered all my questions. He was very thorough and took apart the whole heating circuit from the thermostat to both connected heaters and correctly diagnosed the problem as faulty wiring behind the thermostat. He quickly replaced the burned out one with the newly purchased model. He cleaned both the heaters and put them back together and he did a test to make sure that the circuit was functioning properly. 2 weeks out, it continues to work beautifully. Next, he tackled the outlet installation. I initially thought it would be easy because there appeared to be some wiring in the crawlspace. However, Eugene noted that the circuit was not live. There was a conduit from an outlet down to the crawlspace. It would have been technically easiest to use this conduit and run another one up to the new outlet. However, this would put a lot of high wattage appliances on the same circuit. At this point, I expressed my preference that we use another outlet to feed the new outlet. Eugene was very willing to try even though it meant more work for him. I really appreciated his response to my input and the work was completed quickly. He even gave me some advice on how to do this myself in the future. At the end of the appointment, he told me to expect an invoice in the mail. I just received the invoice and it is exactly for the quoted amount. I am so happy when a business is able to give a quote over the phone, honor it and complete the work professionally and in a timely manner. It is a huge bonus when they take your preferences into account and when they take the time to explain what they are doing and answer your questions while they are working. I would definitely recommend this company for all your electrical needs and they will be my first choice if I am in need of further electrical work.

They are very professional and when I called about the circuit breaker they came out quickly as there was a employee from this service provider at my home the day before and something happened to it. They were very apologetic and resolved the issue. I will need them again and hire them again in the future.

Easy to book but hard to find out how much things will cost. . Pleasant electrician showed up on time for the first visit. Took one hour to fix a loose wire in a recessed ceiling light and to remove inoperative motor from an attic fan. The electrician said he would take the motor to the shop to diagnose the problem and get back to us about the best solution. The electrician left me with an nice outline of the work he had done and the time it took. After not hearing from PK for several days, I called several times and finally got hold of the right person who said that PK had already ordered a replacement motor and they would call me when it was in. I had to ask how much the motor would cost. Several days later PK called me and scheduled a visit to install the new motor. The same electrician called to let me know he would be late and when we might expect him. After he arrived, I was surprised by how long he spent in the attic replacing the motor. It had only taken a few minutes to remove it. When I asked what took so long, the electrician said he had to disassemble the motor assembly that he had arrived with before he could install the motor in the the existing assembly. The electrician then took off saying that the office would figure out the bill and invoice me. He left no paperwork outlining his work or the time it took. Several days later a bill for about $500 arrived. ---------------------------------------------------------------- PK was a good as its word. They called back immediately and offered to amend their invoice to make up for the communication issues. Despite the hiccups, I ended up impressed by how seriously they take their work and reputation.

PK was here on time and the work was exceptional, as usual. Their staff are personable, competent and knowledgable. We have used PK several times in the past ( for wiring and hanging lights and wiring sump pump controller, etc.) and will definitely do so again in the future.

They were on time to the appointment. We decided to not hire them because their estimate was more than we expected. It also seemed they were charging for additional unnecessary work.

They arrived on time, did the work I wanted and it was an easy interaction.

We asked PK Electric to give us a bid for some low-voltage work we needed done (Cat5E cabling, in-wall HDMI cabling, multi-room audio, phone cabling, ceiling-mounted TV's with video distribution etc). Their person came to our site on time and seemed extremely professional. We walked through the space with him for an hour and explained all the work that we wanted done, and he took detailed notes. At the end of our meeting he promised to send us a quote later that week. We never heard back from him again, despite repeated phone calls. He did not even call us to let us know they would not be able to provide us a bid. Perhaps he was scared off when he learnt we were getting quotes from multiple contractors?

They were wonderful, they were very efficient and it was a great job!

I called PK because we were unsure of how to hook up a hard wired wall oven to an existing 220 outlet, and because we had a short circuit on the dedicated line to our dishwasher while remodeling our kitchen. They had to come out twice because there was not enough time the first day to find the short. It ended up being that the wire was in an odd place, and one of the screws we used to mount our cabinets hit the wire - since we had only replaced cabinets and appliances, we did not know how the wiring was done! Just bad luck that we hit it! Costly bad luck at that! I'm sorry I cannot remember his name, but the man they sent was very professional, friendly, and knowledgable - he did a great job splicing and fixing the wire so that we didn't have to completely tear everything apart to rerun the line. I will call PK in the future if I need any electrical work done!

Went well. Was here on time and did job well and it works. Ceiling junction box needed to be reworked.

They are very responsive. They were significantly less expensive than the other estimates we got. They did quality work and did a good job. I would definitely use them again in the future.

It went swimmingly, from start to finish.

A crew of three smart, professional, experienced and very nice guys showed up on time and performed 9 hours of herculean work, wiring my entire house for Ethernet and installing a 24-port switch. They had to work predominantly in the crawl space and attic with probably around a mile of ethernet cable. When complete everying worked perfectly, which is surprising considering the complexity and scale of the job. They cleaned up after themselves (they had to cut a lot of drywall to install a patch panel and switch, and 6 ethernet jack panels in 6 different locations all across the house). Not only would I definitely use PK Electric again, I already have: I have them coming out soon to replace a dying whole-house exhaust fan and motor. Thanks guys!!

Received a thorough quote...the scheduler was flexible with the start date...the electricians listened to my plans and completed the job on time.

We lost power on 2 circuits in our 12 year old home, 1 in the kitchen and 1 in our master bath, on a Sunday evening. After reviewing several vendors on AL, I called PK Electric on Monday morning, and they were able to squeeze me in that afternoon. The electrician showed up at the agreed upon time, and replaced a breaker in our fuse box, which fixed the problem. Total time onsite 30 minutes. When we received our bill we noticed we were billed for a minimum 1 hour, plus an extra 1/4 hour extra. I contacted their billing department, and they said it was for travel time, but they took off the extra 1/4 hour and we settled up. Overall I was very pleased with the work, and their responsiveness.

I call PK Electric to replace my electrical panel. They first came and gave me an estimate for the job. They were lower than others so decided to go ahead with them. They have done several small jobs for me in the past, and I was very satisfied with their work. John and his helper came on time, did the job in less time then anticipated and arranged for the inspecter to come the next day to approve the work. I will definitely will use them again if the need arises. They are very professional, knowledgeable and do an excellent job.

This was a tough job, as all the estimators pointed out, but PK was the only company NOT to gouge me for the toughness of the job. Based on all the positive reviews on Angie's List, I decided to choose them, though they were the lowest bid. The two electricians who were sent out (Eugene is great!) were both polite and answered all my annoying questions and cheerfully did added work that wasn't in the original bid without gouging me for that (they just did it time and materials). There were no ugly surprises, and the estimator was spot on when he said that some drywall repair would need to be done, because the new panels were smaller than the originals. They also noticed some other stuff that needed to be done, so I am having them come back. I feel so much better now about having installed updated panels in my rental properties!

They did a wonderful job. Extremely thorough, professional - really great. They discussed the light placement and height, took my input and also made suggestions. They were very neat in the cuts they had to make in the dry wall and reattached the dry wall in a way that made it very easy for me to spackle and paint.

PK had installed the electric panel that was having the problem 2 years before, so when it malfunctioned on Easter Sunday we called them first thing Monday for a repair. They had an electrician out that day and were very gracious about working with my tenant since I was only available by phone. They troubleshot the problem and resolved it within an hour- luckily it was a problem with a bad receptacle not the panel itself.
