"Initial contact was immediate, scheduled time to estimate cost/job, then scheduled work date. Rain delayed work and only issue was no contact after first work date was missed due to weather. Then, re-contact was made and the work was promised to be completed on Memorial Day and it was. The removal of old gutters and installation was quick and efficient. Great personalities of installation guys and clean up was complete afterwards. Update: Since the start of the job until September, 2019, I have called the company several timesregarding leaks in the gutter and to have the cover guards installed as promised. Arron always stated that they well be installing the corner guards repeatedly but he never arrived. The leak that was to be fixed within a week, was never done, have not had any returned contact from Arron. I suggest that the full payment never be made until all the work is completed. Once the bill was paid in full via cash on the date of work, Arron lost interest in the completion of my job and went on to other ventures. Very disappointed that I trusted him at his word."

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The kind of gutter guards you have will affect how often you need to clean them. The more basic type of gutter screen requires cleaning once or twice a year. With a micromesh screen, you may be able to extend the time between cleanings to every two years or so.

However, if you have trees near your roof, you’ll need to clean your gutters more frequently, especially if you have chicken-wire or colander-type gutter guards. If you have pine trees near your roof, you may even need to clean your gutters quarterly, as tiny pine needles can get through any type of gutter guard.

On a typical three-bedroom home, gutter cleaning takes about one hour. For larger homes, especially those with multiple stories, the job can take two to three hours. The time required may increase if the gutters need extensive cleaning, the roof is steep, the gutters are hard to reach, or if gutter guards need to be uninstalled and reinstalled.

Using less toilet paper is the easiest way to prevent future clogs. Also, avoid flushing sanitary products, thick paper towels, or hair down the toilet. If you’ve been using a brick in the tank to reduce the water used to flush the toilet, take it out immediately. Bricks will eventually fall apart and clog your toilet drain. Keeping your toilet lid closed also helps avoid future clogs.

Yes, gutters can still get clogged even with gutter guards installed. While guards significantly reduce the amount of debris that enters your gutters, they are not 100% effective.

Small debris such as pine needles, seedlings, algae, small leaves, and pebbles can pass through the guard's screen or mesh and accumulate over time. Clogs can also form if the guards themselves are not cleaned and become overwhelmed with debris on top, preventing water from entering the gutter.

If this buildup is neglected, it can lead to clogs, water leaks, mold growth, and even plants sprouting from the gutters. The primary benefit of gutter guards is not the complete elimination of maintenance, but a dramatic reduction in how often you need to perform it, often from several times a year to just once a year or less.

Installing a leaf protection system that keeps leaves and pine needles out of your gutter downspout is the best way to prevent clogs. Additionally, you may want to remove any trees or branches that are hanging over your downspouts to prevent leaves and branches from making their way into your gutter system. Of course, routine downspout cleaning and inspection can also help you stay ahead of clogs that create water damage at your home.
